I think it's also partially symptomatic of the general difficulty severe autists like himself have with theory of mind - he struggles to accept the fact that other people are not obligated to conform to the "scripts" he's developed/acquired for them. He thinks he's unlocked some concrete "rule" for human interaction (I identify as woman = society provides asspats), but fails to account in the formula for the autonomy of all of the other actors involved. To the turbo-autist, that's like having a calculator where you input 2 + 2 and it gives you an answer of 47.

Edit to add: in a way, I can't blame him. Looking at some of the utterly unconvincing monstrosities on reddit that get asspats and choruses of validation daily, why wouldn't some gangly teenage SPED be able to convince himself he's a real woman with enough autism? What I haven't seen mentioned yet is that Emily claims to be "taken" by a man. If I were a betting person, I'm betting Emily here has been groomed by some perverted Discord troon and what we're witnessing now is some mentally ill sped trying to find proof that he really is a woman and not a mentally ill man in a skirt.

I'm a fellow Emily observer and in my opinion the more likely explanation is that this man he's purportedly "taken" by is a whole-cloth fabrication. Emily has tried on multiple separate occasions to deceive people into thinking that he is a natal woman and not just a fake autistic one with a penis, and having a boyfriend would lend credence to that idea since all troons are quote-unquote lesbians (heterosexual males).

The only flaw in this interpretation is that it requires Emily to have some theory of mind and an understanding of human beings and how they think/behave, and going by his multiple spastic Reddit meltdowns and other strange behaviours I may be giving him a bit too much credit in that regard. in my experience, autists can only accept their own perceptions and imagine everyone else shares them, so in their mind "I look like I pass today" is the gospel truth and other people who say differently are lying on purpose to be mean. I thank god every day I am not autistic.

Don't worry, I'm not dead-set on my theory, and also considered his "boyfriend" to be imaginary too. The only reason I think it's possible he could have a "boyfriend" (read: adult groomer) is because of how often we see young autists getting groomed into trooning out. That said, I don't actually have any concrete stance of just what Emily's deal is. Emily isn't like typical troons, so it's really hard to get a read on him, other than the fact that he's obviously very autistic.

I think that's why I am interested and observing him closely; most troons follow a pretty standard routes, to the point that I never give a second thought about them after they're posted here. But Emily isn't quite fitting into the troon narritves we commonly see here. Like you said, I think Emily has the potential to be a lolcow. I do worry he might be a kid though and we're witnessing a poor sped slowly unravel.

part of the condition is having low insight. they are the last people you should ask. their family members are a better source or professionals who work with them for a living. youtube has a ton of people who explain it.

real psychopaths would be extremely bored with what we do here, and in the case of troons: coddling them is infinitely more cruel than making fun of them. No one ever got their dick removed because of a post on kiwi farms. hugboxing on reddit has lead many people to destroy their bodies and lives.

I'm not autistic, but have close family members who are, so I'll keep it brief: they're genuinely not. I think troons are generally what you see when you combine autism with absolute gutter-level parenting and an unmanaged porn addiction due to lack of any healthy IRL social contact.

Most troons, in my observations at least, have even more of an overall mental health comorbidity with narcissistic personality disorder than autism - though they're obviously not mutually exclusive. So there's some overlap with the autists, but honestly I think narcissism - pathological or no - has a more direct causal role in trooning out. Especially in the older AGP types, who then groom the gormless autists Pied Piper- style into the cult for numbers and legitimacy. Our buddy Emily here being an obvious example of the latter subtype.

The thing about autists thinking the world runs according to a pre written script that only they got a copy of is broadly accurate from my experience. Though, troons are unusually lacking in self awareness even by autist standards. Still, autists tend to develop what I would call "programmer brain" where they think that interacting with other human beings is about performing a certain set of inputs in order to get a certain output. And they get confused and frustrated when they don't get the output they expect.

Once you know how to spot this, you can see it even in very high functioning autists who are able to lead mostly normal lives, and who aren't socially retarded. If you watch them closely, the way they interact with others can seem weirdly pre rehearsed and unnatural. It's not necessarily that they are psychopaths who don't care for others, but they don't have the same ability to subconsciously "read" people that non autists have. So it takes active effort to not fuck up social situations that most people would be able to navigate without having to really think about what they are doing.

I think one reason why trooning out appeals to autists is that it creates an excuse for being a social retard. Normally, if you can't interact with others properly it's your fault, and you need to learn how to do better. But once you troon out, it is the fault of the rest of the world for being "transphobic", you no longer have a duty to do better because the locus of control for your own fuckups has been externalised.
