I think he was legitimately lusting after the girl behind Pippa. Maybe not so much anymore, but at the beginning.

But I do agree as to the second part. Apparently it's a major faux pas in the vtuber community to try and see beyond the anime girl facade. He was playing with fire by posting pictures of some blonde girl on his twitter, while claiming that Pippa was chilling at his place and they were in some sort of relationship. I kinda understand, under the weird-ass customs that community follows, why she felt uncomfortable and Phase Connect put a stop to that shit. Him melting down over the fact he couldn't have her back on his show just made him look pathetic.

The vtuber community is fucking cancer, but he did willingly poke the hornet's nest pretty bad.

Even before all the bad stuff came out about him, he was as marginal as one could get. His life seemed like prison out of prison. Half his streams were about him raising money to pay basic bills or to buy food. The guy did not seem to work at all and was utterly broke. His sex offender status would have limited just about anything he did. He was so desperate for money that he would offer commissions for tiny prices and then get so much work that he didn't have time to do it.

I think he stopped streaming about two weeks ago on his own channel. I think his friends don't see any space for him to operate above-ground at the moment. I think all the people who had been giving him tiny amounts of work have denounced him now (weither they really mean it is another question).

The IGG campaign for his Conan-style comic Beowar is still up. But I think that is about it.

But I think it's clear for a lot of these guys that they really need a project manager or something keeping them on track. Or possibly handle the business side since I get that when they worked for a company, they may have just handled the art side. Now for a lot of them they have to deal with penciling/inking, coloring, lettering, printing (this can be its own headache), etc.

Exactly this. These people have artist brains, which makes most of them completely incompetent when it comes to business or common sense. It's why businesses have business people running the show and managing the artists.

An artist might think it's perfectly reasonable to spend days or weeks on a couple of panels or to spend all that time and then abandon what they were drawing all together if they change their mind. They forget that time is money and your customers want their product in a reasonable amount of time. They get so lost in the details and process that they become self-indulgent and imagine that their customers are just as willing to indulge their whims indefinitely.

The road to financial success in comics is not in creating the greatest masterpiece ever. You need good to great art and story put out in a timely and consistent basis. That keeps the customers coming back for more and giving you more cash. It's a weekly grind.

The engagement farming aspect and Eric's retard fans that go after people is what escalated this out of control. Any criticism got the "Monetize your haters" treatment from Eric then his stans on xitter and youtube were going mental hounding people that didn't like the comic saying"you are racist to a black man and you're jealous of the money". This made "da haters" go further and look for shit to get on Eric's case about and cause mischief. Then an even more crazy reaction from Eric, flagging xitter accounts etc. Then it was the escalation to IRL stuff. Now it's mostly tribalism along lines of which e-celeb you support or hate. Ethan, Dick, Vito, Nick fans are going to hate July and their own haters are going to defend July to stick it to them. I understand it but I get why it's boggling Metokur Warski and PPP because it's all so stupid.

Sciverfrog's grandstanding might have worked if he had any momentum going. He's not a real artist, you know, one who likes creating good work for it's own sake, oh no. The effort he does manage to put in is wasted on a concept that isn't any deeper than a washed up marketing executive attempting to follow market trends from 30 years ago. Rippa is simply the black Billie Mays of comics right now with enough Orange Clean to make Liam go gray and Ethan look like the ShamWow guy post-hooker biting.

Who knows, maybe as Sciverfrog continues to deflate we will see more of his wife's influence take over (the recent Nascar thing) positioning herself to claim even more of his earnings when they finally walk down the divorce court aisle together.

The thing about Metokur was that he was constantly searching in the Kino Casino thing for some reason or some narrative to get him on side with Nick, Dick, Vito and the rest of the gang.

Can you give Jim a script that explains or excuses everything Nick is doing. Did Nick perhaps experience some secret tragedy that we don't know about. Jim just knows that Nick is a good and successful guy and everyone's pal. Can someone just feed him a narrative to justify why Nick is still great?

Can you give Jim a script that explains why he should hate Eric July so he can properly get on side with the people who hate on him.

There seemed to be incredible effort put into avoiding saying anything about Dick. In particular with regard to Eric July. The simple explaination they were searching for was that Dick is a failed has-been who drama farmed a guy with a bigger audience (July) to give life to a dead show and attention to his lowlife minion's crowdfunded comic.

Warksi and PPP also seemed to know that there certain ways to present what happened to Jim and that it was better often to play dumb than to say things that Jim might not like.

As I think Jim himself nearly said, he was really only interested in dunking on Ralph in the segment. Anything other than that was a diversion anyway.

Very unlikely. Pippa is surprisingly drama averse and she'll usually take a shot but then drop it and not start beef, even when the Cooms stuff was happening she mentioned it once and said she didn't want to dwell on it. As for Balldo, people used to be upset her company prevented the collab, but after the drama she was asked about it and described it as "bullet dodged" and moved on. It's kind of insane how she took a risk to do a collab with Cooms without asked her company permission and him and Balldo decided to go full retard instead of being normal.

Really it's something the Sektur can learn from, you want to take shots but not dig yourself into beef, just look at Metokur, he never got into slap fights, just laughed at shit.

A lot of vtubers ghosted them after that, and he had collabs set up that were canceled as a result.

I don't think people realize how toxic of an asset Cooms is. Look at it this way, Balldo seethed about Pippa's company not allowing her to collab with him back in the day to the point that when the drama started he inserted himself into it and started attacking Phase, what both of them are missing is that had things gone good with Cooms and he continued to collab with other people, Phase would probably eventually allow Pippa to collab with Balldo as she usually gets special treatment in terms of what she can get away with. Instead they made sure that not only Pippa would never do a stream with them but any vtuber, including ones known for being edgy, and the only one they cold get on after is part of some porn group that no one likes.

That's really the irony of it, the thing Balldo was seething about so hard was by his, and his gay friend's doing, not some arbitrary decision of a company like he claimed. I won't be surprised if Cooms continues to destroy the careers of those around him as he continues to be a complete dipshit. Can't wait to see him drag EVS into the abyss like boulder that he is.

I'm very aware of the Phase Connect cease and desist. I watched it live unfold between both of them.

Again, I stress that Coom will be haunted by his actions towards her if the July Stans find out his past and start posting emojis in regards to Ethan's doing raids.

She will not be publicly stating anything. But her name and her stans/July Stans if they figure out it hurts him to mention Pippa now that he's a target to more humiliation. It might raise a eyebrow to her employer why latest algorithm marker(s) show her attached to him again. Comicsgate, Vito etc with name only, not appearance.

This is the internet as we all know, staying out of things tends to lead to where even if you say nothing it eventually comes back up indirectly.
