Pit bull breeder mauled to death by his own dogs in Los Angeles - "Preliminary information suggests that the deceased individual was involved in breeding and selling Pitbulls.”

On Friday, a 35-year-old man was found dead in his backyard in Compton, California, after his pit bulls mauled him while he was attempting to feed them.
Authorities with the Los Angeles County Sheriffs told KTLA 5 that they believe the attack occurred between 7:30 and 8:00 pm on Thursday. The man's body was found after a concerned friend discovered him body inside a dog kennel around 7:00 am Friday.

Michael Gomez with the LASD Homicide Bureau said, "He was feeding the dogs at which point maybe there was an altercation between some of the dogs and [they] ultimately attacked and mauled the victim."

Helicopter footage from KTLA showed authorities climbing along the rooftop of the house along with the neighboring ally trying to corral the dogs as they ran loose and attacked each other.

Animal control said they believed the victim was using five adult pit bulls for breeding purposes. These dogs were taken into care by animal control. "Preliminary information suggests that the deceased individual was involved in breeding and selling Pitbulls,” Animal Control said.

In a statement, Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control director Marcia Mayeda said, "Our deepest sympathies are extended to the family and friends of the victim."

She added, "We are committed to conducting a thorough investigation to determine the facts and ensure the safety and well-being of both the community and the animals involved.”

Overall, five adults and eight puppies were taken from the property by Animal Care and Control for "impoundment and examination." The victim's identity has not yet been released.

I would be 100% unsurprised if the animal control professionals decided that since they can't figure out which dog specifically killed the guy, they can't punish all of them with dirt naps. I would also be unsurprised if some sanity was shown and all of them were killed

From what I have seen today's pit bulls don't need to be around. They've changed over the years, and not for the better. Way back when, pit bulls were considered 'nanny dogs', who would watch babies, gently pull them away from threats, etc. Now don't believe pit bulls can be trusted not to attack even those who don't pose a threat to them. I stay away from any encountered when walking, don't care what kind of leash they are on.

Seems like a much more efficient plan would have been get a couple of cops with rifles, start shooting pits until there are no pits moving, then check on the dead guy.

He was more than likely good and dead before the cops got there.
I dislike the idea of wasting 2 hours to come up with a plan when there is an attack victim needing treatment.
In this particular case the victim was the breeder so it is fine they took their time.

Looks like he just has the dogs in a backyard with no proper shelter/kennels and I'm sure ignored them except to take puppies to sell. It's barely above Amish puppy mill dogs being crammed in tiny cages stacked on top of each other.

I consider any nigger with a dog of any type (outside of yorkies and other small drop-kick dogs), to be a very high threat, with nigger & pitbull combos representing the highest type of danger, as they will be definitely armed in addition.
