ForeverKailyn / SincerelyKailyn / kmwbeauty / Kailyn Marie Hughes/Wilcher - Hey Guyths!

What do you have to be sorry for? You're like the Carl Sagan of makeup here, I'm learning AND laughing.

Bruh, I've been watching makeup tutorials ever since 2009, when my best friend introduced Michelle Phan to me. In all those 7 years, I've been trying my best to retain everything Michelle and other legit beauty gurus have been advising to their viewers.
However, I'm not an expert in makeup!

Jesus wept. Foundation is for your face Kai, not your neck. Surely in 9 years of "beauty guruing" and in that 40 hour makeup course you constantly tote you learned that at some point. It's not like anyone can see your neck beneath the potato head anyway.
In slight defense, it's important to match foundation to your face then also bring it down your neck a bit so it blends into your actual skin and doesnt end in a hard line. If you only put it on your face you can look like you're wearing a mask and not in good way

Sorry for the off topic sperging but I've heard you should match your foundation to your chest or neck, as your face can be a slightly different colour than your neck or chest. This ensures you aren't 2-3 slightly different shades of the same colour.

I've heard that too, but I think by now, it's either there is no one solid rule to foundation matching, or it's just all BS and we're all wearing the wrong shade of foundation on our face.

Dude, Michelle Phan is not a beauty expert. Her hygiene when it comes to her makeup is just as bad as Kai. Go watch videos of one of the few times she us recorded doing someone else's makeup and it's horrifying. Better yet go read her thread on P.U.L.L.

No, no, no, what I meant to say was, I just watched her videos for fun. I never really took her advice. There were bits and pieces I took from her, but I didn't (and don't) worship Michelle herself or use everything and anything she says in her videos. I tend to gravitate towards smaller YouTubers when it comes to beauty advice. If I want pro makeup advice, I usually go for celebrity makeup artists.

At the end of the day, it doesn't matter. Makeup is a form of self expression. It washes off.

Unlike Kai, who's too exceptional to wash hers.

Slightly OT but ladies have you ever found a Male Kai? i.e. some one who's totally ill suited to dishing out fashion / beauty advice but has dedicated there lives to doing so? The closest I have found so far is a guy with about 6 video's on youtube about shaving and that's more painful / dangerous than anything else (Think of the CWC Bic video then add a safety razor to the mix and a cut throughout dry....).

I'm not talking about the loveshy guy's talking about dressing like gentlemen an all that bolocks, I'm looking for a male Kai, or as close as I can get.

I'm not disputing that, but you don't go out and specifically match shades to your neck instead of your face. Some MUAs recommend matching a shade to what's closest to your jaw's color for easier blending and a more natural and even appearance. However, at the end of the day, foundation is meant specifically to cover your face - it lays a base for the rest of your makeup, covers imperfections, evens out skintone, etc. - you only blend to your neck to not look two toned or splotchy. It's going to be obvious if you wear the wrong shade, even if it happens to match your neck, unless they're really close in colors.

For instance, Kai's foundation was clearly too pale for her. She looked even more like a water-logged corpse than normal.

In addition to the entire foundation mismatch incident, Kai needs to also learn the settings of her camera. Filming in front of a ring light can be on the easier side because the lighting isn't too hard to control. Nearly everything's manual. But when filming in natural lighting, there needs to lots of adjustments prior to filming. Natural light is a bit harder to work with, since (obviously) no one can increase or decrease the brightness of the sun, or predict when clouds will starting rolling in for a rain storm.
She needs to find the correct filming angles in order to make sure the colors of the makeup colors don't appear to washed out, or too dull. I think the natural sunlight may have distorted the color of that Mehron foundation. Just because the sun is shining through your window bright and clear doesn't mean the colors will show up clearly on camera.
She also needs to understand that cameras tend to pick up colors of a certain object and absorb light in a different manner, versus the human eye.

I remember there was a channel dedicated to exposing beauty gurus, they made a handful of videos on her and that's how I discovered who she was.

Does anyone know if she still has her baby or did she leave that responsibility to someone else?

Read the thread. Hell just read the previous 10 pages.

Guac still lives in the house with her, but she doesn't take care of her or anything. That's left up to MW. She only pays attention to her when she wants her to do something for insta/snapchat and then drops her. She's 2 years old and can't speak, just grunts and screeches like a feral child so really no ones claiming responsibility for the kid.

That's sad, honestly. I guarantee you the poor thing won't even be able to attend school because of how much development she (at least seems to) lack. I heard something about her developing a flat head as well. I have a 2 and a half year old niece who already walks, talks and uses the bathroom by herself. I get that some people are late bloomers but it seems like Gracie is very far behind.

Those of you that actually watch these videos through to the end are amazing to me. I can't get past 'Hui guizzzze,' every-single-time before the five second jumps ahead on the timeline start piling up for me, moon crater acne at the start or pancake makeup pie face makes no difference.

This entire thread and yet no 'lipstick on pig?' Because this swine is the epitome of that in my estimation.

The child is of course completely screwed, the family an argument for the legality of abortion and the subject of the thread who Donald Trump was referring to specifically when he said, "I love the poorly educated."

@Ravenor , male Failyn?

Kailyn just posted her makeup certificate on IG. She has been talking about this course to legitimize herself for years and now we actually see the certificate. It was a 40 hour course, and she completed it in 2009. It's from the Chesapeake school of aesthetics, skincare, and makeup artistry, and it cost her $1000. She "attained the standards required in that program." She says it never expires.

I'm sure it never does because it's meaningless. It's like one of those very expensive schools for wannabe models, that will take your money and pretend to give you something in return by teaching you to "walk" -but nobody in the modeling industry really recognizes it.

She's hung onto that certificate with her two grubby fists for almost 8 years now, and we finally see it.

For some reason, she blacked out her name.

She did say once that she and her mom took the course together. But if it was a thousand dollars as she's saying now, that seems less likely.

I'm not sure you ever get the truth with her.

She said she blacked out her name and her teacher's name. She left her first name in. That girl be cray about what she decides to show the internet and what not.
