As far as I know we don't know much about how certain arousing attractions anchor sexual attractions in the brain, but I know that sometimes a song or location can get anchored in mine due to a good experience and I can only guess that the picture of "small crying child" has the same capacity of being anchored in a brain and have its pathways reinforced.
