I have heard people reference a recent "incident" that was supposedly the worst time of his life and that his drinking heavily increased after this event. I've heard it speculated that its wife trouble of some sort but that details haven't been made public.

And if that's the case, I certainly have my sympathy for his implosion. And hopefully after whatever it is has concluded that he gets back into the groove of things. I have no expectations of this actually happening, however.
