This is reminding me too much as to when Mikaila was taking some kind of medicine that was giving her something similar to heart attacks regularly and she didn't thought of doing anything about that until Liliana told her that medication was the issue. With the added context of this pictures, I think that speaks more about how Mikaila felt about her living situation than about anything related to Liliana. So first of all, while it isn't easy, there are plenty of people out there who find themselves in a situation where they are the primary breadwinner taking care of an infirm relative. Again, not an easy situation, but I don't think it's ridiculous to think that maybe you can clean up after somebody else, especially in communal areas like the bathroom or kitchen. If the pictures she shared aren't as bad as those two areas I cannot imagine the living conditions involved, or how somebody just... puts up with them, if they aren't also having a mental health crisis.
