This isn’t a personal attack. Since Dick is an outspoken connoisseur of conventional storytelling, I thought I would share some writing advice with him.

The Dick Masterson character is clearly past Act II of the classical three-act structure, and climaxing his story on a reckless drug kick is way more suitable to his brand than devolving into some catty faggot.

I know the latter has already happened, but I don’t think it’s entirely too late for a satisfying conclusion.

I think he just dislikes July more than the majority of the site, and that's okay.

I recall back in late 2020, I was among the minority of people on the site critical of Rekieta, and caught a fair amount of shit for it. So I think I understand Fleetwood's frustration here. He's also not the only person who follows the CG thread who isn't crazy about July.
