I don't know how long it has been this way but if you try to use Twitter logged out and look up a user account you won't be seeing his posts in chronological order but in a descending order from most liked tweets to least.

i visit the site extremely rarely, but when i did that today (clicked on joshs twitter link) the timeline was all over the place, random posts from 2 years ago at the front, nothing in chronological order.

remember those (un)funny ironic boomer memes that went by the name of "da share z0ne"? Probably not. They werent really remarkable past 2017/18, but ill give an example of what they made anyway.
They were doing a "weird twitter" thing before it was beaten to death with hammer, but if you're at all familiar with weird twitter gossip (first off you're gay) you've probably heard rumblings about shady shit happening with the da share z0ne account.

- Unfunny guy joins group chat
- No one tells unfunny guy he's unfunny
- Unfunny guy starts posting, then hijacks the account, somehow switching the original account owners phone number to a Google voice number
- Unfunny guy makes money and everyone else is mad
- One of da share z0nes original account owners (before unfunny guy took control) makes a Google doc poorly explaining what happened, inspired by...hbomberguy?

Gonna expand on this since she was told about the post (she deleted the post, still archived). a lot of this is just dumb spergy shit, hearsay, hypocrisy and "just take my word for it". But, man. I'm off work today, so not much else better to do.

She tries to makes friends with Drew's wife, drew says it's causing marriages problems (LMAO) and for her to back off.
Drew starts schizo posting in the group dms
Drew allegedly said a bunch of transphobic shit (no screencaps)
Last but not least....
Jane is mad about 4 thousand dollars. A kickstarter the page made, for a card game no less. raised 260,000 dollars. When jane was kicked from the page she was given 4,000 dollars.

personally, this is just pointless gay twitter drama. Neither side has anything to gain. No way jane is getting what she thinks would be "her fair portion" of the money. No way is drew giving the account back. Just something awful goons doing what they do.

It's just severe autism all around. A very sizeable portion of the "exposé" is jane complaining about her life and how drew was responsible for how shitty it is.

The bots have gotten really, really bad just in the last few weeks. After Musk took over Twitter, there was definitely a period of reduced bot activity, especially once the browsing restrictions hit, even after they eased up things were pretty good in my neck of the woods for months and months but this year has just been awful with bots. They're everywhere. Twitter does about as good a job controlling the bot problem as Runescape.

I haven't noticed anything making things worse in the last few weeks regarding bots, but it's been really bad for months now both in terms of bots and actual people clout chasing. Every post that gets traction, be it something from an account that mostly posts memes or talks about sports has its replies raped to oblivion by the types of obvious bots shown in the pictures of the post you replied to, or skanks replying to advertise their OnlyFans, or other people posting unrelated shit to try to leech off the post that blew up.
One of the worst things in terms of bots: the ones who just post shit copied straight from the first sentence of a Wikipedia article. For instance if a true crime related account posts a clip of a "chilling" interview of John Wayne Gacy, you almost guaranteed that the top replies will all look like the following with perhaps slight variations:
The other thing that really became trendy in the last few months is people clout chasing by posting things like "Does anyone else hate that all the replies these days aren't even related to the post?" It's clout chasing disguised as being against clout chasing, often posted before the thread is derailed.

If you have bots in members worlds, they need to pay for membership. But there are ways to bypass this, such as creating a million accounts during a "Free 7 days membership with Amazon Prime" promos and such.
