Legit a good 95% of this "relationship" takes place in her head. Darnell physically exists and sleepwalks his way through some kind of sexual act that Sammie initiates on the rare occasion, but given his level of investment, it's still only marginally more substantial than the "relationships" Sammie invents out of whole cloth with the Facebook profiles of random dead niggas who never met her before. It's no wonder drama is a core feature of even her LARPs, though. She's batshit insane as well as a desperate hypersexual tard, but in all fairness, she is the product of an environment in which it is 100% culturally normal to cling to turbulent relationships with the worst kind of retarded, unfaithful deadbeats because it's preferable to the shame of being single.
Her family may have attempted to plan some kind of baby shower since they had to buy essential baby shit for her knowing she sure as shit can't be trusted to, it's even a solid possibility her mother allocated funds from Sammie's own tugboat to purchase most of it for her and just wanted to present it in a nice way. They probably were unsure about planning it since it was probably too hard keeping up with Sammie's rapid swings between being super excited for babby and saying she doesn't even want it or wished she'd aborted depending on whether she's currently pissed off at Darnell or not and eventually said forget it.

There is no way Sammie could be trusted to take the pill every day. I also would not trust her to give her children their medication every day which is probably the main reason why she had to give the kids to her parents. Lucy, having heart problems, undoubtedly requires numerous crucial and major daily medications that would take a back seat to blunts and filthy Facebook postings.
In regards to the Plan B, once you find out you're pregnant, it's too late for that. Plan B is for if a condom breaks or something. Yanno, the morning-after pill. So fucking stupid!

Her math is bad, to the surprise of absolutely no one. She doesn't want to have 2 babies in diapers but she wants literally 8 more (specifically gendered) children. She is almost 28 so, assuming she is perfectly fertile until she's 40, that's only 12 years to have 8 babies. She would eventually have at least 2 in diapers at the same time, assuming most of those 9 fucking kids take until they're 4yo before they are out of diapers.
Also, Plan B IS the pill.

The doctors may actually be telling her this about the pill since she is so damn big that a normal dose isn't going to be effective.
Her best option if she is unwilling to do a tubal would be the Paragard IUD.
