This is why Nick’s Dr. tells him he’s fine & sends him along, doesn’t want to hear anymore gay nonsense about the balldo.

Its like that bit in the matrix, people need a bit of challenge and suffering to feel good, it reminds me of this warehouse job i had, when we only had half the crew for awhile because of management fuckery it was a great time, you felt like collapsing but every day it was to the buzzer and you were motivated to do just as good, but once it got sorted out and we were able to have enough free time to start watching movies and shit suddenly a lot of people who were used to the intense days felt bored out of their minds and quit., if anything it got easier, and I started to HATE it.
It depends. Some alcoholics will give up food and completely lose themselves in oblivion, from what I have read, I didn't see that in my life but rater I saw many who won't go that far and rather will be chronic users and obtain all the negatives but over a longer period of time retaining or gaining weight. Alcohol has a lot of calories, I did the math once when I was a fat alcoholic and even if I switched to drinking everclear I would save maybe 10% of the kcals of my usual drinks. A serving of alcohol generally has 90-110 kcal and when your drinking 20-30 beers/shots/glasses a day it adds up.is it normal for alcoholics to lose weight like this?
Every time some of the regulars in the thread forget just how damning some of this stuff is it makes me feel like I'm crazy. Thanks for resummarizing it!If anyone is looking for someone to feel bad for in all this, save it for their children.
The Farms is a great place to be if you are recovering from the scars of terrible internet decisions. Many can relate to having done things we regret later. Learning to laugh on our own without other people being there to validate is key. Nick can't laugh unless others are there laughing with him. He is miserable and he needs an army of enablers to reinforce his faux persona. He is a true narcissist and will never change. What an ugly rant from a ruined man.
I hope John is feeling better.
I agree with this but personally think that Kayla wanted all the kids. Empty people like to fill their lives with things or people thinking it will bring them fulfillment but it doesn't, hence her current state and apparent lack of care regarding basically everything around her except for what Nick wants. Kayla strikes me as an extremely empty person. She's whatever Nick wants her to be.This hurt Nick. I can tell that Nick is the type of man who probably spent his whole life chasing daddy's approval. He got a law degree because that is what his father wanted. He married Kayla because that is what his father wanted. He had a lot of children because that is what his father wanted.
I'm surprised he can drive since he's drunk all the time and has Swiss cheese brainHe refers to the nanny driving, his wife driving, and now he has to drive.
Sorry, Off topic but it believe what is the bigger problem here is the lack of separation of work space and home space. After all its not unusual that people try to live a physical distance away from where they work to have an easier time to unwind and such. With home office you make that distance non existent, making just being home feel like being at work. For some people it suffices to have a separate office room to handle that, but Id say that's not the norm. I could see streaming following a similar home office pattern.Very minor PL. Since Covid I was able to work remotely at a job I had for quite some time. It lasted years before I got an offer I couldn't refuse at a new place. It started out with me loving the change because of the freedom and my ability to pretty much fuck around all day as long as my work got done. Over the course of the years the job didn't change, if anything it got easier, and I started to HATE it. I don't know why but just the concept of having to wake up and work just started wearing on me. I'm an introvert so I didn't miss being around the people. I just started hating the concept of work and started looking for ways to get away with not doing it, which was pretty easy in my line of work. It was a really weird(tm) psychological thing. No major changes in my life during that period, positive or negative, moved the needle in either direction.
The new opportunity I got was not remote, zero telework. I thought I would HATE it, but the opportunity was too good to pass up. I don't hate it though. I go in every day and do what I gotta do. I look forward to coming home, sure, but I don't hate going in.
Point being, there's definitely some psychological effect of having THAT much control over your work schedule and having THAT little accountability to anyone other than yourself.
I'm still kind of getting up to speed on the Nick lore lately, but I think it's less about bad relationships with the father for these people and more about toxic influence from their mothers. Ralph and Nick both swing between acting like teen girls and bitter single moms, but never like men. I have to imagine that behavior was learned somewhere. I tend to believe that abusing substances is just one form of how narcs cope with being unable to get any authentic fulfillment out of life due to their inability to find meaning in the things that normal people find meaning in. Every single narc I've ever known was obsessed with hedonistic pastimes. Not all are as dramatic as what Nick's doing but I've run into plenty of them who are terminally obsessed with a waifu, a video game/anime, etc. and build their whole identity around it because they are incapable of forming their own. That is just my theory though. I have this theory as all the men who idolize Juju have daddy issues and bad relationships with their father. Nick is no expectation.
People are biologically Hardwired to "fight". Living on the low end of the stress/Motivation curse will just straight up fuck over the chemical Balance of your brain. But sadly, the whole World will eventually look like an Amazon warehouse, so pick a roof. Its like that bit in the matrix, people need a bit of challenge and suffering to feel good, it reminds me of this warehouse job i had, when we only had half the crew for awhile because of management fuckery it was a great time, you felt like collapsing but every day it was to the buzzer and you were motivated to do just as good, but once it got sorted out and we were able to have enough free time to start watching movies and shit suddenly a lot of people who were used to the intense days felt bored out of their minds and quit.
people subconsciously care about their job and its probably a big reason why so many people go nuts doing "the easiest job in the world" you needed the hassle even if you didn't realize it because it made the rest of it worthwhile.
I suppose I do feel the need to say something now.Listened to Jim and Andy. Jim stated that something bad must of happened for Nick to fall as hard as he did. Watching Kino Casino of Andy and PPP going over the "Dear John" clip and the projection he has with telling Captain Manning that his family doesn't love him, I think what happened is that, after the Depp v. Heard trial, Nick's dad probably told his son that he is disappointed in him. There is this Ted Talk that my English teacher had us watch where the guy talked about how he was pursing a degree in teaching and when YouTube starting to become big he decided to start a YouTube career in helping teach other student learn online through YouTube. He stated that his father, who was a biology professor, wasn't happy about this and told his son that he was disappointed in him doing this instead of being a normal teacher.
Thanks for the information, Spectre_06.
With the arrival of Spectre's sock we can now rest assured this thread is 100% lodged firmly into gay ops discord territory.
Keep your fucking retardation in your Discord channels.
I think it's more that he's just such a completely gigantic faggot that anything short of outright worship causes him to chimp out and alienate people.I think the same thing happened to Nick. He was probably riding high from the Rittenhouse and Depp trial, making bank and he talked about it with his father, hoping to get his fathers approval, only for his dad to say; "I'm disappointed in you Nick. You would make so much more money and be more respected if you were a real practicing lawyer instead of pursuing this silly YouTube stuff. You need to grew up Nick."
Does this mean we do or don't let Rackets know on Xitter how often Our Wife let's Us use the Baldo on her?
