Breed and species are different. Dogs of disparate breeds are still the same species, and can interbreed with fertile offspring. There's still clear delineation on genetics and characteristics, with mixes being mutts. I will begrudgingly admit we're all obviously the same species, but clearly there are enough differences we should be allowed to differentiate varieties of human the same way we do other organisms.
The question is way more complex. In general this question is about the part and the whole. Delineate for me, if you can, the exact distinction between one organism and another. You can’t! You can’t do the same with species either. So life is one big mess of organisms all blended together. Except that’s not the case either, as there are barriers to organisms, like that a man and a monkey can’t mate and have an offspring. The question is intensely difficult and dips into metaphysics very quickly.
I think you're still missing my underlying point. I'm not trying to say we're different species, just as I wouldn't suggest a Dachshund and German Shepard aren't both dogs. There might be atypically large Dachshunds or atypically stupid GSDs, that doesn't mean the breeds don't have distinct and (generally) predictable characteristics. Is it really getting metaphysical to say they were probably on to something a couple centuries ago?
That group of Chinese people are the worst ever in University. They openly cheat with a brazen stupidity. It gets worse if you call them out or they get a grade they don't think they deserve. They think a bribe is acceptable and when you refuse they will report you for accepting a bride anyways. The only way to deal with them as a teaching assistant or non tenured professor is to record everything you do and go by the book no exceptions.
