Is this nigger REALLY so protective of his biting he's willing to cop to her bullshit grievances just to protect his biting??

So far, AFTER the biting allegations, her video really doesn't carry much weight ("I wanted kids he changed his mind about kids"), and despite his willingness to go "fine I was shitty what she said is fair..."; I'm pretty sure the actual reason for him conceding this is to clear the air about the biting with the second screenshot.
He clearly wasn't abusive, but he's like "yeah yeah I'm abusive whatever, but my biting is a problem? Ouch, I... I hope you accept my most sincere amends."

He cares more about his biting being listed with the abuse, than he cares about being called an abuser.
Dude fucking reddit convinced her she was abused, she said so in her own video!
Why would anyone do anything but dismiss her as crazy?!

Yeah, the more I'm watching things unfold, the more I'm being reminded of Dan Avidan lovebombing and hooking up with fans. Everything was perfectly legal, but you can argue it was a bit of a dick move.

The main things that still have me a bit sus of Will outside of Shelby's claims are the fact that Nihachu brought up him biting her even before the Dream SMP, before they had their main explosions in popularity. At this point I'm willing to assume he's a shitty boyfriend, but no more abusive than your typical fuckboy.

I watched the Harmful Opinions VOD last night and I was surprised to hear that Shubble is 30. I would be more understanding and sympathetic if she were 20-23 but this is a grown ass woman who willingly played mommy to British Chomper. His house was a mess, he didn't do laundry, had an ant infestation, and would ignore their safeword. From the get-go, the biting fetish is a red flag but I can understand why she would be okay with it. However, she continued with her rambling about how Wilbur wanted children at first then stated he wasn't sure.

Are you shitting me right now? I can give her the benefit of the doubt of not leaving immediately after hearing how he's into biting but I cannot understand why she would stay after seeing that he cannot take care of himself. You seriously wanted this manchild to be the father of your children? I think everyone can acknowledge that the biting is a form of abuse but you cannot put all the blame on him for everything that happened. Shubble is a woman with her frontal lobe fully developed. She is fully capable of making her own decisions and those decisions led her to a shit relationship. To claim that he is an abuser is far from the truth considering she realized that through reddit of all places. They both need conservatorships considering that they are acting like braindead teenagers when they're full grown millenials. No wonder they amass fanbases of mentally ill zoomers, they never grew up past high school.

I know it's off topic, but hear me out. There's a different allegation put out against someone new everyday and they're mostly nothing. Imagine if you were Projared.

According to her version of events, it sounds like he has some weird problem with biting, things got bad despite their attempts to make it work with stuff like safe words and what have you. It was hard on their relationship. At some point she realizes Oh shit I'm FUCKING OLD and actually do want kids, but he had realized things were dead in the water by then, and their relationship deteriorated from there. Other than the biting shit being super strange he didn't really do nuffin'. She's the one who paints it some autismo thing he's done to everyone since he was a baby.

And normally I'd agree with the idea like, never apologize, right? But lately we've seen some of these nicer guys on the internet take a softer stance and it turn out okay.
If anything invalidates his apology its that he spends fucking half of it focusing on the biting, which is what I think he's actually concerned with.

What’s going to be interesting is seeing what TommyInnit does next because of this. He’s known Wilbur for years and in many ways wouldn’t have had the successful career he has without him. I don't want to come in being too parasocial about this since I've been a big Wilbur fan since the Soothouse days, but it's pretty fucking obvious from watching some of his content that he's just the sort of autist with a dozen weird quirks who isn't great at general social conduct.

Like a few people have said in the thread, the biting things is hardly something that's inherently sexual because he does it to everyone. Same with any physical conduct, I've seen people on Reddit addressing the way that he tends to get physical with his friends in videos - beyond the biting, he's a big guy and tends to use his size for a lot of aggressive physical bits - and going "oh, I wonder what he does to them behind the camera!" But if you look at it, a lot of it comes from being unable to read social cues/whatever else, and that's how he expresses himself.
Frankly, I understand there's a lot of the idea of clout-chasing being a big thing for people not speaking up, but Wilbur's focus is entirely on Lovejoy, as it has been for the last couple of years. Nobody has really had any motivation to cover him up for a long while now, since he's had a way reduced internet presence anyway.

I really hate how all this shit is being put in the court of public opinion nowadays, too. Shubble's accusations seemed to imply that the issue was with Wilbur doing it in public just as much as in private, so all of these "friends" apparently didn't see anything wrong with his behavior until now that it's a hot topic on Twitter?

So after watching through Harmful Opinions breakdown of the video she really does come across as a dumb fucking sperg, it's honestly a miracle she got this far but then again this is Xitter.

To me this just feels like your average BPD girl throwing a temper tantrum that prince charming didn't want to put a baby in her, and in a fit of jealously is now trying to take him down because if she can't have him no one will. It speaks volumes that a good chunk of the vod is just her obsessively reflecting on ways she could have fixed the relationship and even crying that he didn't text her back after she BROKE UP WITH HIM

This doesn't come across to me as someone who is relived to be free from a toxic relationship, but rather someone who is just begging to come back.

I want to also call attention to the fact that Wilbur by her own admission was extremely open and communicative during the course of this relationship and gave her many outs. He introduced his kink and noticing it was causing distress immediately brought up a safe word, he was the one who brought up the discussion of having a child so they would both be on the same page later on and when he harbored doubts let her know, when she started to question whether he truly loved her he reassured her and went out of his way to make grand gestures to make things right (which she tries to frame as love-bombing), when he started feeling insecure about the state of their relationship he went to her and shared his feelings. This is just proper dating etiquette, would hardly call that manipulative or abusive in the slightest.

Of course what they had was definitely dysfunctional and I can see Wilbur being a nasty autist as that is par for course for Minecraft Youtubers but that isn't enough to justify a public lynching nor to have his name smeared as a "DANGEROUS" individual.

Remember this is the same guy who went on a tangent in his response video pointing out how ridiculous it is that someone can accuse a person without evidence and Xitter will immediately take it at face value.

I guess it's only a problem if it effects him personally? What a fag.

Honestly absurd that all this pressure is being put on Wilbur when the burden of proof should fall on Shelby. I think it's especially gross that she made a point in the vod to emphasis how Wilbur is a "chronic liar" who is CONSTANTLY getting caught in lies whereas she's a goody two shoes that HATES the concept of lying and would never do such a thing. It's incredibly manipulative to paint Wilbur in such a way so that no matter what he says people will subconsciously assume he's full of shit while making sure people see her as a paragon of honesty.

Of course he didn't do himself any favors with that response but I think he still cares about her and that's what's holding him back.
