Sweet Baby Inc. and the Steam Curator Group Conspiracy - The company that is responsible for the diarrheic video game writing.

half of them were already on my ignore.
Hmmm... nice feature I hadn't noticed before. Thanks for the tip. I ran through the list and put them all on ignore. I won't accidently buy any of these games during any Steam sales now.

I wonder if the game distributers get feedback on how many people ignore them. I bet Steam itself knows and keeps an eye on what pisses people off.

Fucking hell, why did HLB have to be on the list? I really liked the first game and the trailer seemed really cool.

Hopefully a growth in backlash against Sweet Baby leads to them ditching the former in the future (
:optimistic:I know.
A friend keeps recommending Sable to me but I’m going to get a grey market code for it which means someone somewhere has probably lost money to credit card fraud charge backs for it so I won’t feel guilty buying it.

Gamergate 2.0 here we gooooo.

The growth of the group is fairly amazing, when i joined yesterday around 36 hours ago it was a bit over 5000 people. Truly Sweet Baby managed to fuck it up for themselves.
I am amazed with how much confidence they always spew the most vile shit: "and report the creator since he loves his account so much"... fuck gamers right, who cares about them? Its not like its their clients sole customer base. The dude already locked his account that coward.

The legobutts dude also so confidently complains about "avoiding inclusivity" as if that is a red herring at all. They live in such a minute bubble that burst as soon as they enter a public (mostly) uncensored place like Twitter and get a brutal reality check.

Took a nap for a few hours. Number of curator followers is now 14k
Its now on 23k followers and rising. Including myself.
AAA gaming is largely dead anyway. You can get just about the exact same experience you get playing the typical AAA openworld ARPG slop by playing a movie on your TV while you play a gacha clicker game on your phone. I subbed to the group just for the lulz, looking at the games they've curated so far, all of that shit is very obviously pozzed and sanitized to squeaky clean corporate PC standards before you even know that SBI is involved.
I agree that the AAA industry is mostly dead with very few exceptions. The only game I was kinda looking forward to that was on the list was "Hyperlight Breaker" since it's supposedly from the same studio that made "Hyperlight Drifter" an indie game that I really enjoyed. It seems like the studio Heart Machine decided to publish their new game with Gearbox Publishing, which I suspect is the main reason why Sweet Baby is now involved since Heart Machine's 2 previous games didn't involve Gearbox or Sweet Baby (Drifter was self published and Solar ash was published by Annapurna Interactive). Now that I know that Sweet Baby inc. is involved I definitely won't be buying the game upon release and I'll wait for the reviews and videos to come out.

I'm actually surprised Sony doesn't have an in-house division doing this shit.
I think a big part of the game is siphoning the revenues of a large corporation off to fellow travelers. You see the same pattern with all the woke "consultancy" stuff in every industry.

There's no need to save money with in-house divisions because giving away as much money as possible is the objective.
