I honestly believe this fat prick is yet again trying to relitigate his case against the Patposters, but in the most retarded way possible.
His entire MPD case is “the cops were following policies and procedures, but they should have had a different policy for me.” Already a stupid fucking argument when it comes to police misconduct, this isn’t some clear cut s1983 claim of “you knew your vehicle perp chases were killing innocent bystanders and you literally laughed about it while challenging fellow officers to high scores in Civilian Bowling,” this is “I’m special so your usual P&P don’t apply to me.” So long as they’re following a policy, unless the policy is literal Dick Dastardly levels of “we’re going to fuck with people for no reason and we should literally know better because there’s a SCOTUS case or seven directly on point,” this case is DOA and should be dismissed for qualified immunity. At the very least, since the chief is getting sued in his official capacity, he may have a good chance of getting dropped as an individual defendant.
Even if the MPD doesn’t make a plea to jurisdiction or move to dismiss, the case is fucking laughable. The key negligence here is apparently in not treating Fatrick with the appropriate reverence and instead treating him like any other tard they have to wrangle. He’s literally trying to say that the rules do not apply to him, because he’s a very special boy. Not a real winner of an argument. It should cut the other way, even—they should treat him worse than the average guy, because he’s got a criminal record and firearms in his home.
But the reason the rules don’t apply to him? Because he’s The Most Trolled Man On The Internet. And he’s being bullied. His problem isn’t with the MPD—they’re just unfortunate third parties being used as trolling tools in this situation, and they’re doing the best they can with the nuisance-level calls they keep getting to Pat’s half-hovel. His problem still is, has been, and always will be with the pests (capital P or otherwise) fucking with him. I hesitate to say that he’s ever learned anything, but it’s been made clear to him that he can’t punish them directly in any meaningful way. So what’s the worst thing to Fatrick? Getting his toys (like Xitter) taken away. So he’s trying to take away one of their trolling toys, in return. But as noted extensively by the learned autists sperging about the correct procedural mechanism to get swatting to stop, this ain’t it. He wants to use a lawsuit against his local PD to punish his detractors, and it’s just not going to happen.
The only real thing he can hope to get out of this lawsuit is money… only problem is, he has no damages. The cops haven’t broken his front door down, haven’t had a firearm-involved drywall incident, haven’t damaged the hovel (although with the battered shape it’s in, if they had, it’d be too difficult to prove anyway). It’s not like they executed his cat, and even then, that’s not a real strong claim in a case like this (cops don’t give a fuck about killing dogs and don’t get punished for it). He hasn’t been shot, tackled to the ground, put in a hold, had his neck kneeled on—I’ve never even seen a bruise. Literally the worst part of this is that he voluntarily let his little Rick hang out at one point. He’s not even suffering emotional distress, per his own stupid fucking Xeets that he can’t help but post. With his combative attitude and pugilistic response to police presence, he’s extremely lucky not to be a pepperoni-American, because he’s never even been arrested for assault on an officer. There’s literally nothing wrong with this waste of space that wasn’t already wrong with him.
So he’s got no argument around immunity, no good theory of liability, no actual damages, and it’s filed in bad faith to get the people actually making the calls to stop making the calls. Why do you say sovereign immunity? Does that principle apply to municipalities in the US? (I thought it was just for the executive.)

The lolsuit is a rather shrewd move by Piggy tbh. His outcomes are win, lose or settle out of court. So, there's a 2/3 chance he gets a positive outcome (assuming he didn't fuck something up beforehand, which is a big ask I know). The real kicker will be if they settle out of court and the settlement isn't disclosed. The city might write him a fuck off check worth very little and piggy will be making victory oinks for the rest of his life.
