Pick-me women / #NotLikeTheOtherGirls General

There's a difference between respect and blind worship, a lot of men that have that impression that pick-mes are somehow better because they to worship the ground that the man walks find out the hard way that pick-mes don't really have anything going on for them in terms of hobbies, social life and that their whole gimmick is just orbiting around them, which becomes incredibly annoying and very unhealthy when you realize that even trad women that pick-mes try to model themselves off tend to have their own hobbies, social life and desire some "me" time on their own, whereas a pick-me just wants to stick to a man 24/7 like a burdock, which if enabled causes insane dependency issues.

I do think there are women that care about male issues but dislike when guys interject their issues when women want discuss their own ones (the great example of this is when women want to discuss femicide and domestic abuse experienced by women, only for a dude to barge in and do his regular "MEN SUFFER TOO!") .

Poles in Ireland integrated pretty well and contribute to the economy so most people don't mind them, the current strife is about non-EU migrants draining public resources whom the vast majority of people don't want but the government isn't trying to stop. Turns out people from similar cultures get along more easily than people from very different ones, who would have thought?

It’s news to me that mass hoards of polish immigrants accepting jobs for lower wages than their Irish counterparts and occupying a severely limited housing supply was a welcome thing that people didn’t mind.

Those things haven't gone unnoticed, but Eastern Europeans blend in and don't cause social problems in the way that muslims and Africans do. Even Brazilians who come over on bullshit student visas and work under the table are tolerated more readily.

If Poles have kids in Ireland, the second generation is pretty much assimilated into Irish culture though they may retain some aspects of their parents' culture at home. When Africans have kids in Ireland their children imitate London gang culture, including fake innit accents, rather than blend in with the locals and they actively shit up the towns they live in.

The word lost meaning when a wife of a happy family is called a pickme and equates her to being a domestic violence victim when she probably just enjoys being a homemaker. Again, I rather have a pickme than a woman who wants men to die or equates them to being rapists who's light switch is turned on.

Of course, but I assume there are technically reasons why that doesn’t exist, just like how we don’t have completely non polluting vehicles or cheap biodegradable packing materials. Some of it is the market’s will, but a lot of it is the limits of contemporary science.

We're not shitting on women who chose to be homemakers out of their own volition and are happy with being that, we're shitting on women that are usually grifters with dubious/questionable past who "become" that and try to shame other women for not choosing what's in their eyes the "right path".

Again there's a difference between "I'm a housewife and I'm happy with my choice" and "I'm a housewife, so that means every other woman should be like me and prioritize family over their own choices".
