So first off, people shouldn't be jealous of Phil. Sure, he got in on youtube early and is still making too much money than what he deserves, but overall, look at him. He's middle-aged. He's stupid. He's a shut-in loser that can't properly socialize with people. He's in a loveless marriage and has to lie to his audience that they're both happy in extremely in love (I loved the other day when he said Kat and him listen to an hour of jazz music before bed. The bitch was almost out like a light while she was playing Dentdonko island. She's long asleep by the time he gets done streaming). His audience is made up of mentally and physical literal retards. He had no prospects of getting new viewers since he's setup a walled garden around his content which chases off new viewers. He's got a gambling addiction he refuses to admit to. He pays way too much for a shitty duplex condo. And in a few years, he's gonna have to get an actual job.
These tip audits and complaining about "too many rpgs" lately is delicious. No, he's just fucking boring. He's dreadfully slow when it comes to actually doing anything ingame and his commentary is just him yelling at the game in anger or going "Bam! Boom!" when landing hits. I know Doody's been showing Phil's earning lately and from 22 to 23 he fell around 20% in revenue, and now he's down another 20% from this time last year. He's been chasing off a lot of his paypigs lately. His ODD lately has been absolutely nuts. "I don't like coop games like Helldivers and suicide squad sucks, so I'm not going to play those!" Doesn't matter. If I was a streamer I'd be playing both and making the game fun since they're the hot new thing. A good streamer can easily make a dumpster fire of suicide squad entertaining, especially since no one wants to buy the game.
Instead, he's playing Yakuza games, which are boring and awful to watch people play. FF7 is a game that you're either going to play yourself or you're not interested in. Really good choices there, Phillip! He should either be playing them on his own time, but no he's gotta match gems. Hell, a good streamer that wanted to do this stubborn bullshit would stream the hot new games, then do bonus streams for the games they want to play. But nope, Phil hates playing games.
Overall, I think what's been going on isn't going to stop and it's going to continue into the year.
