I think a lot of that comes from Christianity being the biggest religion where a lot of those atheists are. But that's only half the reason. As much as it's funny to see to see the inevitable collapse of TJ happening in real time, I've been feeling more nostalgic than usual lately and decided I might go back to listen through the old Drunken Peasants videos.
It's easy to make fun of him now, but DP was actually to me a pinnacle of what made the mid-2010s' Youtube a lot of fun. I might just be chasing ghosts but I really could use a dose of gamer words and actual comedy to remedy the modern "safe edgy" faggotry that is modern Youtube.

Funny thing about TJ and Vaush though. What I find interesting about them is that they're less actual people in my eyes and more archetypes for a type of person you meet in real life. I've met a TJ. There's TJs everywhere, especially in the South. Some guy who thinks he can coast off life by being cerebral and occasionally funny. They're fun at times, but they are for all intents and purposes lost causes who will grift and screw others over for a nickle. Their lack of a higher moral being to answer to makes them inevitably view morality as a non-issue, while adamantly going on endless diatribes of how superior their "ethics" are. They all end up looking like a fat wrinkled chode (Seriously, what the fuck is with that bloated anorexic, aged wizard with a face that looks like a decompressed ball... it's a pattern in all of them). They all end up pushing most people away from them. And they all think they're interesting, super deep individuals (situation), when in reality there's millions of them.
