You have to remember that this is all based on feelings. Both mistaken ones and weaponized false ones. "Don't think, just act how we tell you too!" This is the result of when complexities come up.

But every bit of it is based on threatening suicide and mental health and nobody, not even TRA controlled and run studies, have been able to link so-called gender affirming "care" to better outcomes in terms of self reported suicide thoughts and more objective mental health. Forcing TRAs to use sleight of hand tactics to compare 95%> of the study group, which they allowed to transition for "safety" reasons, with a small handful of people with such severe mental problems, that even they couldn't "treat" them. Then they run to the news media screaming about how their study shows that gender affirming "care" is linked to better mental health outcomes. The reason for all this trickery is of course that the outcomes of gender affirming "care" always at best show no improvements or major differences between the before numbers and the after ("treatment") numbers. So they make sure to transition the entire control group leaving only the worst and most ill to compare the treated group with. (usually suffering from one or more other severe mental issues) But in the end, they are no different than before they got "treatment". Their own data shows this.

Another thing shown by these types of studies is that despite never improving, suicide, serious attempts at it or self harm, is actually very low. To the point of almost non existence. (TRAs like to claim that dropouts are "probably" deaths but that is nonsensical on its face.. the media and science/medical media never challenges these claims despite them being ridiculous.. because it would be a "bad look" and such.) I think there is still a chance that true "confused" people might have higher rates of these things. Especially since they also tend to have significant other additional mental and emotional issues, as well as histories of abuse. But not for transtrenders, but true cases... which going by the numbers before the trans fad took off, is probably only like <0.5-1.0% of current transgender claims.

One of the last major (small in absolute terms) studies they did ended up like this and caused them to have to transition as many as they could to "treatment". There aren't a lot of studies on this by design. The "rights" to do a study are gatekept so extremely that even TRA investigators are generally not allowed to do them. Specialists in mental health and development have no chance outside of under the watchful eye and veto control of TRAs. There are quite a few examples of studies by mental health and scientific specialists being shut down via absolute meltdowns by TRAs, because they were normal studies, not run and controlled by them.

Probably? It says embargoed until today - of course it doesn't mean no one could leak it, but it does imply they sent it out beforehand to at least some people.

I really hope normies pay attention. They knew it was wrong anyway, but didn’t have enough ‘proof’. They didn’t know exactly what the process of hormones and surgeries entails, nor did they realise just how barbaric and remorseless the doctors are.

I’m optimistic that this leak encourages other medical staff, the ones who kept quiet out of fear, to speak up. There needs to be more voices from the inside.

The problem is, it's a simple reality that some people do not approach these topics from a step-by-step review of the facts and evidence, and instead work backwards from a pre-determined premise, such as transitional surgeries being flawless "because anything else would be bigotry." Certain people and personality types are not engaged in the conversation out of an interest for the facts and the science, but rather as a way to virtue signal how seemingly intellectually informed and morally superior they are. As such, their response to leaks such as this will just be to attempt to silence it, perceiving that as the "morally good" thing to do, never considering their opposition might have a point.

"The Red Pill" was initially supposed to be a take-down documentary about men's rights activists, but the initially-feminist documentary maker realized during her own interviews that her perceptions of the MRA were entirely wrong and ignorant, and that there were indeed issues where men were being left behind that should be acknowledged, as well as the fact that feminists were needlessly demonizing the MRA.

The very documentary includes a university worker who identified as a feminist, and he too conducted research into the wage gap and, according to his own research, found it to be wildly exaggerated, and that the initial research on the subject didn't control for things like hours worked or pay grade for a man and woman working the same job with the same qualifications. The initial research paper really only functioned as evidence that men collectively work longer hours or collectively had higher qualifications than women.

The documentary maker had her documentary shunned and blacklisted, with media telling people how hateful it was and not to watch it. Hollywood reviewers gave it a 4/10 and said it "lacks a coherent argument" while actual review websites have it sitting at an 8/10. And if I remember correct, the dude who did the additional research into the wage gap eventually lost his job at a university, as if an institute for learning and free thought only supports their brand of free thoughts. Can't remember if he lost his position over that, but I do know he's sometimes met with heavy protests when he's scheduled to speak at a university.

Or as another example, a couple years ago "the Woman King" released:

The Woman King was a movie based on the Dahomey Kingdom, depicting them as freedom fighters against their neighbors and against European slave traders. The reality is that the Dahomey Kingdom had a slave-based economy and were one of the biggest slaver states in Africa. They continued slavery practices long after the French and British had ceased with them, to the point the Dahomey Kingdom came into direct conflict with the French/British at times BECAUSE the two wanted the Dahomey to stop their practice of slavery. The film quietly dances around this though and presents the Dahomey as people fighting for their freedom, taking Portuguese slave traders (for Brazil) as one of the villains when Brazil was like the last western country still engaging in the slave trade at the time period of the film.

Basically, it felt like Hollywood needed some super hella fucking woke figure for a movie, and hey, the Dahomey had female warriors. BLACK female warriors! Let's just scrub out the parts about how they were the bad guys and hunted and enslaved innocent people, and instead let's focus on how EMPOWERING it is to fucking kill people when you have a vagina.

Lupita Nyong'o was initially set to be in a starring role for the film, but something unfortunate happened: she had enough of a brain to research the topic herself. She traveled to Benin herself because she wanted to personally get in touch with the culture of the region the movie's story stemmed from. Turns out, the very Dahomey Kingdom the Hollywood film was glorifying was detested by some of the locals, because woah no shit, slaver nation turns out to be a bunch of assholes responsible for the deaths and enslavement of many of the locals' ancestors.

She quietly stepped down from the role, and of course there was no discussion about why she did so despite her return from the trip aligning so well with her change of heart, probably because Hollywood needed to sell their "black wammanz freedom fighter" story, and Lupita's revelation would destroy their bottom-line, if word got out. The target audience, ever eager to be perceived as "woke" and "morally enlightened," was also quick to fall in line and watch the film unquestioningly, praising how mighty and brave the black wammanz be.

I could go on and on, but the point is I'd be really pessimistic about people waking up too quickly.
There is always, always always a camp in any discussion that isn't there to seek integrity in the discussion, but rather for them, the discussion is merely a means for them to jerk off to their own reflection in the mirror and think about how morally superior they perceive themselves to be.
They will not listen no matter how much evidence comes to light, because they don't care about evidence. They only care about having an underdog (women, black women, transgender people...you name it) that they can support in a crusade against "the big bad" and never stop to consider they may be causing more problems themselves. This is not going to actually swing in the other direction until it becomes overwhelmingly unpopular to harbor the stances they have, as all these people truly care about is their own public image.

I wouldn't hold my breath. One of the biggest problems with the majority of the population is that the average normgroid is incapable (or unwilling) of distinguishing evidence from authority. They are the kind of person who would gladly apply a lethal voltage to a pleading stranger because a man in a labcoat told them to. I read a post on here, I don't remember where unfortunately, where someone said that transitioning kids was the first step in eroding the legal protections of being a minor. Look at that sentence and tell me there isn't a double meaning hidden behind it.

The goal is to cater to the wishes of adult men that wish they were seen as desirable and adult women that wish they were seen as capable, and the latest wish was an attempt to alleviate the woes of future versions of themselves. When brought to their attention that children cannot consent and are in fact wards of their parents, they point to the brainwashed transhausen parents as paragons of virtue and compassion. When you point out that the transhausen parents are abusing their children, they will argue that denying this "life saving care" is the real child abuse and say that children should be able to do this behind their parents' backs in lieu of affirmation at home. This whole wish relies on children being able to consent.

Detrans here, and I think what stands out is that the permanency and level of complications seems so beyond what a minor or person with severe mental health issues can comprehend. Seems on the same level as having a child. You can’t “go back” on that. And even ardent pro-lifers recognize that a tween can’t safely have a baby or raise it well. Maybe time to start treating trans care like abortion- both heavy decisions. Sure, make them, but really fucking think first.

The lying to get past gate keeping is also a major problem. It creates an adversarial relationship in therapy and encourages dishonesty and only projecting a certain image. It reminds me of marriage equality campaigns. Which, while they worked and were good for many, also cause a lot of same Sex couples to hide their problems and feel a need to only show the positive. Smile for a spotlight. Ask any elder gays, they’ll tell you of these pressures. The trans thing is a magnification of such.

I don’t agree with a lot of views and insults here around this leak, but I really can’t seem to have an honest analysis of what it’s saying on a mainstream site.

Thought: Perhaps treat self-ID and access similar to having a professional license? That is, do a crime, lose that “license” even if being an X is key to who you are? Many professional people “behave” because of this kind of threat. Give me puzzle pieces, but using that kind of framework would at least stop sex offenders and those with records from being in the other gender’s space.

Edit: also viscerally uncomfortable with the level of talking to children about sexual things that trans care likely entails. It’s a boundary violation.

For most minors, all you need to say about alphabet stuff is: “well, some people have different relationships or families. Be nice. You can like who you like. Don’t get pregnant or get diseases.” Extensive discussion of genitals with kids should be out.
