is this a japan only thing? I don't get why they'd need announce their stocks can be bought on margins. never bought on margins because i'm dumb,risk adverse and the chance/cost of debt is higher with margins.

Basically they're opening themselves up to the options market. Upsides - potential larger VC market, downsides - you can be shorted.

I have no idea why anyone at anycolor would look at their current situation and investor sentiment, and go "yeah let's grab for VC, surely nobody will short us!" But I'm no economist.

Yep. Different stock exchanges have different rules on things, surprisingly.
 
So after the Prism announcement, it seems with the exception of Kou and Naki, everyone else will become indie streamers, but the Gen1 and Gen3 girls will create their own own small VOMS groups for each generation.

If whoever has an anti-niji boner strong enough was to notice that Vox and Uki broke multiple prohibiting points of that contract, notably the ones about sexual material, material harmful to children and the one about discrimination, that'd be pretty wild. Haha. If Vox and Uki are under that contract, of course, haha.

If you violate certain points in the contract, they can just nig all of your earnings. Jesus CHRIST.

That contract was fucked. They could even have you dox yourself by showing up to a press event or tv appearance as yourself and not your vtuber model.
