The woman gets supper closer to bedtime and can’t rely on getting something edible, never mind comforting. I don’t know or care what she may have been like as a younger person a parent but I’m hard pressed to think of anyone who deserves that level of awfulness.

She does, but he’s autistic, or has some kind of developmental delay issues according to Dee Dee. Nothing severe enough though to stop him holding down a full time job. Dee Dee claims that her brother and herself were having to pay a lot of money every month to augment Geraldine’s pension because it didn’t come close to covering the costs of the care facility. From memory only, it was something like $1k per month. I’m not sure why they are paying it when Geraldine sold the family home when she went into care. Her brother also doesn’t use social media, or really have anything to do with Nader, so could potentially not be aware of the degenerate he actually is. I’m sure even Nader can keep it together for the occasional visit, in order to keep Geraldine’s pension in his pocket. Plus he’s her full time carer, so if there are government payments in Canada for taking on that role, he’ll be getting that as well.
