hbomberguy / Harry "Harris" Brewis / Slazenger Rapemachine Whiteshaf - "Rational" SJW, former SA goon/LPer, sexual harassment apologist, raised $350K+ for child abuse cult

If it does come out that this guy an heroed because he got cyber bullied by Hbomberguy fans, and Hbomberguy tries to distance himself from the "harassers," remember that Hbomberguy in that plagiarism video implied that Internet Historian can/should be judged by the actions of his fans.

Ah. The usual case of people setting standards for others to live up to while they themselves are the exception.

hbombergay owns him with facts and logic and moral superiority and he fucking kills himself afterwards, while having pre-uploaded videos bound to release after his death.

Brilliant PR move might have been the wrong phrasing, but he sure as hell hit bombergay back with a critical hit.
Well his first attempt at the strategy failed miserably. Remember he opened his first sobbing apology with a detailed description about how he had just tried to kill himself and was in the hospital for a week?

It didn’t work because there needs to be a cliff hanger and audience participation. He was still alive, and probably lying, so nobody cared about his first suicide bait attempt. JS needed to go bigger, more dramatic and leave a cliffhanger to stick the landing.

He’s hoping to watch HB get drug over the coals until someone figures out he’s not dead. Just because he’s in Canada, has a dad there and his (none too pleased) writing partner Nick I don’t think he could pull a Near and try to play dead for very long. But watching this shitshow for a few days is his only option of petty drama faggot revenge.

When the takedown video came out, I couldn't quite put my finger on it but something really rubbed me the wrong way (beyond the surface-level lib, soy, etc stuff). The points Hbomb brought up are all true but it still felt like there was something important lurking just below the surface.

I think the subtext underpinning it all is that Hbomb and others like him will never be more than youtubers and deep down he hates that. Hbomb and other youtube personalities never would have gotten any degree of fame if there wasn't this platform with absolutely zero quality control barriers before you can put up content. I know he's soy-libbed and cuck-tarded and so on but in the youtube world, he does produce something of considerably higher quality than most of the other content on the site (if you don't see that, either you've cultivated a blessed algorithm feed or you have a carbon monoxide leak in your home). The median youtube video is absolute slop, because there's no gatekeeping or quality control for creating a channel. He likes to think that his work is sufficiently separated from the videos that use text-to-speech to read the top posts on reddit by the greater level of effort involved but he wouldn't have a career if it weren't for the accessibility of producing youtuber content. He exists for the same reason that elsa-spiderman videos exist — anyone can post anything and see if it sticks.

Hbomb hates Somerton because he reveals how close Hbomb is to the lowest effort sludge on youtube in the viewer's eyes. Somerton produces content akin to the text-to-speech bots but makes himself look like Hbomb. No one could tell the difference for years. Hbomb does put more effort and care into what he makes but ultimately it's consumed in the same manner as any other youtube video. The depressed zoomer who can't eat dinner in silence doesn't care if it's Hbomb or Somerton or some rando reading lore wikis verbatim filling the air.

The entire thing just sounds so far fetched, we're supposed to believe that this person meticulously planned and recorded a bunch of videos to be released after his death, and already had everything set in motion the moment he died? The same person that couldn't string together two sentences without using the copy / paste function, this same person somehow has a Law Abiding Citizen-esque doomsday plan just ready and waiting for when he kicks the bucket? This sounds dumb even as a comic book storyline.

Harry's just some balding faggot that was out for scalps. The Tommy Talerico thing made him feel important and powerful so he tried to do it again. His comment about "Troll's Remorse" was rich given his past. It's never been about standards for him lmao. He just wants to feel important and powerful that's literally it.

Pretty much. Harry is kind of the youtube adjacent or equivalent to that issue back in the 1800s where people would publish books just full of misinformation supporting what they believed, but they just worded and explained it all with very academic language so people inherently just thought it was true.

It's easy to get caught up in the sheer volume of one of his videos but ultimately brevity is the soul of wit. Go look at all his recent vidoes. Skim through them if you have to just to remind yourself of some things.
Notice anything? They're all extremely easy targets. It'd be akin to making a 2 hour video slamming on retards undercooking chicken or doing raw beef diets. It is just a brit bong veneer layerd on quantity over quality sludge. None of the arguments he makes are particularly smart or witty.

To my understanding, it's rare for something like this to go this long without any evidence of a death (in North America), correct? I know in America this would be unusual, but I don't know about Canada. Not that it's not impossible and it doesn't mean he's alive, but it probably means he's more likely to be in forced treatment more than there is to have a body to be found. He's already claimed to be put up for an entire week last time for something similar, it doesn't seem too far fetched to assume the same thing happened again.

Nothing in the news and nothing by reporters, nothing from family, nothing from orbuities, KiwiFarms/Reddit/Twitter/etc still haven't said or found anything about it, the people who contacted him hasn't shared anything publicly, and there's no police records showing that a body was found. People knows where James lives if a wellness check was done on him. I assume he's in a ward of some kind. Or at least that's what I would hope for. The thought of ending their life over something like this is horrible and unfortunately will set a horrible precedent for similar events like this in the future.

I don't know - it's possible he's in a hospital on life support or otherwise injured, in which case there wouldn't be anything published on it. It's also not uncommon for obituaries to not be published for suicides.

I don't really know either way, I do hope there will be evidence one way or the other.

I don't know if this has been shared here yet, but he posted a reference to Gone Girl on his twitter a week before all this someone captured:

Spoilers for Gone Girl ahead in case you want to read or watch it - it's pretty good so I'd recommend it: it's about a woman who fakes her own death for revenge. I just find it as an odd choice if he's actively suicidal.

True, but he was comfortable painting with a broad brush, conflating shitposting fans with the creators real opinions, when he couldn't find anything personally objectionable or super political about IH (besides making fun of dashcon and bikelock cuck).

I think a better example would be if David Fincher just made a movie called "Fight Club" and didn't ask permission to adapt the book. I get the video was high effort, but there were lines completely ripped from the original article and the fact they had to change it proved the author didn't approve of the adaptation.

No sure where he's from, but death certificates aren't necessarily public information (or at least they often aren't easily accessible online). An obituary would be likely, but there's no requirement one be created or posted. Given the circumstances, it's within reason that family could choose not to post one. Not likely but possible.

Whether genuine or not, it's fascinating that this happens a week after the airforce guy self-immolated to baffling acclaim from the online left. Something feels on-brand to see a guy kill himself "because of injustice in the world" and have that spark the idea to fake/commit suicide "because of I want to be a youtuber"

Pretty much. That + thinking he's on a different side of the political spectrum so he's gotta own the chuds!!!!
His shots at IH were retarded and just further goes to show that he was out for scalps. If anyone watched the original "Man in Hole" video and thought "Wow! He must've done all this research on his own!" they're a retard.

Yeah it's in slightly poor taste to not just directly credit the OG article he pulled most of the info from. He should've done that. But ultimate the original thing he pulled from was an article—Written word. IH's original video is a transformative work. It doesn't infringe.
I'm pulling from here.
"Transformative uses are those that add something new, with a further purpose or different character, and do not substitute for the original use of the work."
Something New—Visual & Audio.
Further Purpose or Different Character—Comedic retelling.
Do not substitute—At no point did the video attempt to sell itself as the end all be all source on the matter.

HBaldi is more than likely aware of all of this. He also just has a very specific style of rhetoric he utilizes and also knows his audience. He knows the people that will eat this up aren't going to do so with a critical lens. They're just waiting for someone with some semblance of authority to give them a justification to hate someone or something.

IH technically was in the wrong because the original copyright owners acted on it, and his video was pulled down. He then edited it and presumably handled things behind the scenes with the copyright owners by listing the article in his re-upload. This all happened long before the Hbomberguy video came in and re-opened it up, also attributing handling things professionally behind the scenes as a way of "hiding his actions". Very convenient to be able to know what people you see as enemies have for motivations.

The Tommy Talerico thing made him feel important and powerful so he tried to do it again.
Tommy as a person disappeared from relevance 20 years ago when G4 merged with TechTV and shows like Judgement Day and Electronic Playground started to phase out in favor of shows like Xplay. Everyone knew Tommy has/had a few screws loose with his claims, that's an open secret in the industry and even people on g4tv forums back then, it's why his involvement in the industry abruptly stopped in the 2000s. Now you have a bunch of rugrats born well after this fact giving older people who actually saw those shows or interacted with him on forums lectures about the man, because the only reason they care is due to a bottom feeder commissar who was looking for an easy target that had faded into obscurity. That entire video with Hbomber claiming that the person who made the derivative "oof" audio should've been compensated and credited because it got super popular from Roblox decades later is beyond bizarre though.

If James were to really kill himself, who do you think he would plagiarize? I know I mentioned Kurt Cobain earlier but now I'm really thinking. He could contact a antique gun shop and get a Walther P38 (Canadianized to where it's one shot only via a .22 round and gun requires disassembly to reload the single shot, of course) and do 'a Hitler'. The possibilities are endless!

>make a hitpiece targeting "right-wingers"
>throw in one of your allies so you can claim it's not politically motivated
>it kills itself

LEMAO
You need to send them to a country with a government actively hostile to them to kill a right-wing youtuber
