I'm kinda torn on listening to it with the warnings. It doesn't help that it shares the usual issue of those stories that there are extremely arbitrary rules and not following them puts you in some terrible unknown fate, which raises the question of how the fuck did anyone figure those out.

The best way I can characterize it, it seemed like he was distracted by Randy's affiliations. Does Randy STILL support white power movements? I don't think so because otherwise it would have been brought up which means at most Randy didn't give a shit about identity politics and was just anti-government. I would have liked some clarification in the video though.

And the ATF claimed they presented themselves as members of a white power militia when they entrapped Randy into making the sawed off shotguns. That's it.

lmao, "tricked", he was an arms dealer who tried to sell a bunch of guns to an undercover ATF agent and was involved with the Aryan Nations. What happened to his family was horrible and went way beyond any crimes he committed, but he wasn't some good old boy who had too many guns for the government's liking, he was a criminal with some weird views on religion, with or without his dog, wife and son dying.
Issue is that selling the guns wasn't the crime, but sawing off the shotguns, which even if it's a crime, carries a retardedly harsh punishment.
I agree, but people always end up making people like Randy into borderline martyrs in these kinds of situations, which is understandable but funny when anyone actually looks into who they were.
Wendigoon definitely comes off as someone who believes he can be nice and keep himself in everyone's good graces in regards to social/religious issues. He also seems to be genuine in his charitable attitude towards the degenerate and diverse. There's a similar moment in the lost books of the Bible video where he gets mad at people for deriving anti-jewish ideas from the New Testament. The extra money and fame from being a token wholesome Christian boy doesn't hurt either.
From what I heard he did not, he mostly only talked those people because they were so remote that your neighbor was needed for survival. a lot of emergency services are hours away so your boned if you picked a fight with your neighbors.
