U.S. Agency for Global Media Suspends Official after Claim He Called White People ‘Snow Roaches’

The federal agency that oversees Voice of America and other U.S.-funded international media outlets suspended a member of its executive team following allegations that he referred to white people as “snow roaches” in several social-media posts.

The U.S. Agency for Global Media told National Review that the executive had been placed on paid administrative leave today, pursuant to federal law. It did not specify the legal requirements with which it was complying.

The claims against the official in question, USAGM chief information officer and IT director James Reeves, one of the agency’s top officials, initially surfaced on a right-wing page on X called “End Wokeness.” It posted screenshots from a social-media account whose owner repeatedly used the phrase “snow roaches” in its posts: “Last I checked it’s the snow roaches that are mad about immigrants,” this person had written in February.

National Review could not independently corroborate the identity of the owner of the account, who blocked an NR reporter last week after being asked for a comment. The name associated with the account is “J.R.” On Friday, Representative Mike Collins called on the House Foreign Affairs Committee to investigate the situation.

The only thing funnier than darkies' attempts to insult white people is white people somehow managing to be offended by a darkie attempting to use being white as an insult.

"You're white! And rich! And attractive! Yo mama owns her own home and knows who yo papa is! Hold those Ls, white person!"

It's not bad, but it's missing that je-ne-sais-quoi that makes other racial epithets so powerful. How could we white men steal this negroid's work and improve upon it?
Roach is already a pretty established slur for Turks and insulting a race by likening them to a another one is never going to be as punchy as a stand alone jab. Even if you haven't heard of turkroaches, what connection do roaches have to whites? Why not rat or slug or any other unpleasant animal? It's just a generic insult with "snow" attached to let you know it's supposed to be a racial slur. An effective epithet needs to speak for itself and have more than a grain of truth to it.

Gammon as a term for red faced white boomers is the one that comes closest to being as snappy as pajeet or slant but still doesn't quite hit the mark, it's a bit too specific.

Honky and cracker have that punch, but the white man is immunized against them due to years of exposure. Amerifat and mutt are both good but they're again too specific to encompass the whole of whitey.

Chomsky-honk?

Nah, keep him on, he's based. Snow roach is funny, but it's nowhere near the caliber of pavement ape, porch monkey, or smoke alarm Americans.

Ceiling ornithologists is also up there.

I still think listerine americans is the best slur that isn't nigger.

I think I've said it before, but I'm a big fan of 'treeswinger'. I like that it works on two levels.

Am I referencing lynchings or am I referencing monkeys? Choose your own racist adventure.

Gammon, to me, seems to reference a specific type of white person (fat, bald, conservative-leaning, red-faced, working class Englishmen like my esteemed colleague, @Keith Kunt), as opposed to being a slur against whites in general.

Honky and cracker have that punch
They're not wordy, they get to the point, but they lack any kind of punch. Nobody uses those except niggers from the 1960s in movies. And either way, from my understanding, they're not negative. They rightfully defer to us as the ones in power.

Cracker, everybody knows where that came from, but honky is my favorite. It comes from back in the days, where you had blacks working your farmland and after a long day, the farmer would pick up his hired hands out in the fields in his truck.

Being a White go-getter, he was very busy and didn't have time for lollygagging, so he would drive up and honk the horn immediately so the workers could get in the back of his truck so he could quickly get to his next important task.

The name came from the workers, who would say whenever they heard the horn beep at them, "Oh, time to go. The honky's here."

A name that comes from the farmer impatiently honking his horn at his hired hands so he could move on to other business: hilarious, but not the insult some wish that it was.

Only a suspension?
“Paid Administrative Leave”

What’s going to happen here is that he’s going to be sitting on his ass at home drawing a check for a few weeks while this dies down and then after it’s forgotten he’ll be moved over to a less forward-facing position at the same pay grade.

Being an executive-level nigger means never having to hear the words "You're fired, porch monkey. Collect your shit and get the fuck out, go home and don't come back."

I'd heard that 'honky' arose from white Johns honking their horns at black inner city prostitutes to get their attention. 🤔
