Sweet Baby Inc. and the Steam Curator Group Conspiracy - The company that is responsible for the diarrheic video game writing.

Gamergate 2 is happening after 10 years. Hopefully this sequel is better because the third one is never as good.
It's perfect that this all comes to a head almost a full 10 years after Gamergate, all the pieces are coming together. If Trump wants the based and redpilled PNGtuber votes this November, he'll have to tweet Gamergate 2.0!

All according to kekistaniku. Sargon, I kneel.
I would welcome this ten-year cycle of death and rebirth of ethics in gaming journalism and its flow of milk if it didn't also imply that game journos will be just as insufferable as they are now. With how awful they have been since at least the rise of the internet, it's no surprise that they will continue to be awful for as long as they have any sort of clout, which makes pointing out their hypocrisy and seeing them sputter as they holler and point fingers towards the usual targets especially cathartic.

What a time we live in where not giving someone your money is considered a form of terrorism.
What's even funnier is all the Steam Group did was say "Sweet Baby helped develop this game" without any further commentary on the matter. If they are so proud of their work, why are they so ass blasted when their work gets credited?

So now we are not only the reason trannies kill themselves (which we are not) but also the reason for Sweet Baby Gate? Jesus, I never knew we were this powerful. Where is my Iluminati button Null?
Null has been the Dark Lord of the internet to these people for years now, and this forum has been his death eater legion going out and enforcing his will like the mindless horde drek we are.

At least according to their head canon anyway, their morality and internal identity of ethics being based upon a diet of Harry Potter and Marvel movies.

Time for z-list e-celebs to brush the dust off those red-blue stylized GG profile portraits. You know the ones, the ones to show their tribal alignment.

They never ever learn, all they had to do was just shut the fuck up and let people be quietly upset in their own corners. But now they've blasted the same fucking information everywhere and just put a "And that's a good thing!" sticker on it. :story:

Stay retarded journos.
Can't wait to relentlessly mock the libtards who sign up here to "epically own" us chuds.

This is going to work out great when every single "anti sjw" or whatever the fuck branding they have now reads the article for outrage bucks and their audiences look up what the kiwifarms is.

Remember to thank kotaku for their free advert boys.
Funny part is Kotaku didn't have to bring us into it. They chose violence when they woke up. And now gamers will respond. To finish the fight. main-qimg-5a7a2d11856d48503188aa7d4a06e39c.gif

Now here's something. Valve in particular stood out to me, so I looked up "__________ leaves Valve" and poked around the Overwiki and check this shit out:

Here are a bunch of now-ex Valve people and when they left
  • 2016
    • Marc Laidlaw, writer
    • Andrea Wicklund, artist
    • Doug Wood, modeler and animator
  • 2017
    • Chet Faliszek, writer
    • Erik Wolpaw, writer, came back as contractor for Half-Life: Alyx
    • Jay Pinkerton, also came back for HL:A
    • Josh Weier, writer
    • John Guthrie, level designer
- 2018 - SBI founded -
  • 2019 - Richard Garfield, designer for Magic: The Gathering, then Artifact
  • 2019 - Matt Wood, dev, CS:GO
  • 2022- Doug Lombardi, VP marketing
  • 2023 - Mike Ambinder, experimental psychologist

What the hell happened in 2016-2017?

They saw the writing on the wall and got out before the shitstorm
Yeah it's telling how the exodus from 2016-17 were all people that actually did video games, during the period when Valve wasn't making any video games, and with the two guys returning when Valve was finally making a video game.

If anything, a better metric to look at here is when Valve was making and releasing games, and also when they've finally changed their corporate culture from "do whatever you want whenever you want" to a proper corporate organization because nothing was being done. It's very likely that 2016-17 exodus was because nothing was being done and the employees had a disagreement with the way the company was going, since the company wasn't making anything that they're good at.
Looks like the SBI detected group is under fire from Steam.

Hopefully someone archived everything important that was there.
Western gaming is controlled by the most thin-skinned people to ever walk the fucking Earth. The loudest voices go to trustfund babies with fragile egos and mental disorders whose only skill is "fixing" other people's writing by cramming in unnecessary bullshit, not people who can actually write good stories, make good art, or program.

This Steam group has literally done nothing to directly attack Sweet Baby whatsoever, just its mere existence and popularity is enough to deem it as "harassment", much like how Twitterfaggot journalists used everything in their power to take down this site simply for existing as a space where you're allowed to critique them without being jannied off of the web.
Welp, rogue mod going wild in the forums. Deleting threads, locking the stickies, banning members from the forums.
It's pretty fucking clear that the guy running the curator page didn't do jackshit to moderate the discussion page, which is a singular part in Steam Community, and people were posting death threats and other shit that would get the group shut down. Valve was decent enough to give him a clear heads up so he took the right action, wiped and closed down the discussions. He's a single guy, the discussion group blew out, and he's not gonna find enough volunteers to clean shit up and keep it clean within that 24 hour window.

It's not some grandeur conspiracy of troons infiltrating and destroying the group, it's the guy not being able to keep it clean within Valve's rules so he pulled the plug to keep the curator page alive. This was the best move, and no, him going down over it wouldn't be better because the curator page existing is what causes the turmoil. Him folding down the entire curator page that points out which games had SBI's involvement would be a massive win for SBI and SBI adjacent fags.
