It makes more sense to me that this outrage against Sweet Baby is being pushed by the publishers themselves.
Let's step back from these games for a second. Subtract tranny buttsecks, and what do these games all still have in common? Live service elements. What do live service elements do for publishers? Make a lot of dollar-e-doos.
What do live service elements do for players? Ruin the games.
Let's say I represent 95% of normies who hate Suicide Squad for the live service elements and bad gameplay, but couldn't care less about it being woke. That's not what Warner want, because it means that these people have a problem with the inherent design of the games, instead of skin deep representation slapped on at the last minute.
How do Warner brush these objectively valid complaints under the rug by the next shareholders meeting?
Make it look like it's all the fault of the woke consultancy firm. Use sockpuppets to push the narrative of a black supremacist xe/xem company in TRANNADA onto unsuspecting chuds. Watch these morons eat up this narrative and bitch about it online. Heccin' valid troons see this and fight back against the chuds. Soon, it's not about how the game is boring, repetitive, predatorily monitized slop, but how those damn basement dwelling facist nazi neckbeards are genociding twitter trannies when looked at from the outside.
Use this as an excuse to your shareholders to continue making live service slop. If it fails? Ehh, rinse and repeat, it's not like all the poogrammers will be able to speak out when their 6-month contract expires and they get deported back to Timbucktoo.
It just seems to me that's just a little too perfect for the publishers' flops to be all due to some wokeness firm putting horse urine in the company drinking water, not the publishers doing something wrong themselves. They want you to go after Sweet Baby. They want you to blame the wokeness. They want Gamergate 2: Electric Boogaloo because it distracts from the deeper flaws in the games, and by extension their own business practices.
