Regarding bizarre furry art, I just went down a rabbit hole regarding a weird kink called "healthplay" and I really hate it! Especially because this kink is present in real life, mainly in the feedees and feeders' community. For instance, a feedee called "Leviathan, God of Gluttony" (Powerword Demetrious Rafael Lymon) died at age 36 because of his obesity - he weighed almost 1000 pounds. I don't find this arousing, I find it sad.

again, it's stuff like this that makes me think it was born out of some kinda moralist desire to see gluttonous people punished, rather than the usual fetishism of finding the topic of the art attractive or personally desirable

I don't think that the vast majority of the works linked are moralistic. Secondary sex characteristics are emphasized in almost all of the images and most of the time the subjects are unclothed. At least one of them depicts explicitly sexual acts.

These pics depict end stage feeder/feedee. The feeder feedee shit is always about control in my opinion. People become less attractive as they gain weight which makes it harder for one partner to leave the other out of a lack of self confidence. These people then spiral because it's the only way they can get affection from that one source. You need only look at Nikado Avocado for an example of that on steroids.

finding moral pleasure in someone's demise is not mutually exclusive from being sexually aroused by the sight of them, many people get off on their own personal morals and on seeing "justice" come to pass
theres focus on sex and sexuality but theres also focus on disgust and how the subject "deserves" their condition
i dont think its unreasonable to consider that at least some if not most of these art pieces have some kinda justice-served based cathartic effect on those who get off on them

Birds have hair triggers as a result of all this - which the theory goes is to save weight for flying. More or less all you have to do is rub 'em just right and they'll go off.

Training plays a role. Talked with a falconry/bird rehab specialist who trained them that his wide-brimmed hat was in fact what they (endangered birds they have for breeding) should fuck. So they'd get it on with his head and just scoop the results out of the brim.
