Hearts of Iron IV: None
You can play as Nazi Germany
The community: Heavy
Trannies are fucking obsessed with this game.

Minecraft: Mild
Reason: They added "woke" political messages in the splash text of the main menu. They also removed mentions of Notch as well.

Here is a list of some of the splashes.

  • Black lives matter!
  • Be anti-racist!
  • Learn about allyship!
  • Speak OUT against injustice and UP for equality!
  • Amplify and listen to BIPOC voices!
  • Educate your friends on anti-racism!
  • Support the BIPOC community and creators!
  • Stand up for equality in your community!
  • Your gender is valid!
  • Contains infinite genders!
A block game mainly played by children really needed this, right, Mojang?

That sounds pretty radical, not mild... Literally a call to action to become activists and to evangelize Wokeism is rather extreme.

I consider it mild as it can easily be ignored like how OP states. Also, since the splashes are random, It's not a guarantee that you'll even see it.
Mild - Elements are easily ignorable as long as you're not too traditional/conservative or unless you're actively looking for it.

"Easily ignorable" to me is something like they have a single gay character that mentions it in a sidequest once and it never comes up again. Something you'd have to really be looking in to the game to see and most wouldn't care. A bit of speech with wokeshit call to arms and beating you over the head with it at the main menu is in my opinion not mild. That said it is randomized and not always there but if it was always there it'd be considered far from mild for anyone here in my opinion.

Oh yeah, they also had that bullshit for George Floyd right? Nu-Minecraft needs to be put into the heavy category ASAP. This was a mod called Plunger apparently.

The wokeshit is very optional.
No one is painted as evil because of their race or sex.*
No politics or pushing real life agendas. **
The diversity makes sense in the setting.***

* Except for the gay-as-fuck terrorist jet black deep gnomes, but good deep gnomes exist too.
* * Except for the gnomes whinging they might have been secretly barred from police jobs (but it was actually because the police didn't need recruits because of their new battle robots)
* * * Except for the ridiculously homosexual gnomes again, an all gay society would have died out after a few generations.
P.S. Fuck Wulbren Bongle.
I went through the game somewhat blind and recruited a gay ass magic vampire who tried to suck my blood while I was Sleeping and then got mad that I wasn't going to fuck him after being my companion for like 2 hour or so in game. I did a side quest to rescue a girl from a witch if you save her she gets pissed off because she was trying to have a abortion or something.

Updated the list. A couple entries could be improved with more info, though.
Oh yeah, here's a couple of other things I failed to mention that make Freedom Planet 2 feel like a commentary on current-year politics.

Protagonist is subject to racist remarks:

Also, there's these messages by an Earth Dragon who previously saw Water Dragons as "primitive savages," and how Earth Dragons brought them the gift of technology and medicine. Then, after being held hostage by them, she learned to love them as people, and winds up falling in lesbians with the game's primary villain, Merga.

So yeah, the game undoubtedly features colonization and racism as its central theme, with a small dose of LGBT in there for good measure, made by a tranny who lives in New York. It specifically tries to parallel its narrative towards how the United States rose as a nation, down to the fact that the Earth Dragons even hold an anniversary of when they came to Avalice, which is not unlike how Americans celebrate Independence Day. The protagonists eventually learn by reading books written by Water Dragons, as opposed to those written by Earth Dragons, that Merga is "justified" in her anger. Anger which she then uses to justify using a planet-destroying doomsday device against people who had nothing to do with the events she's angry about.

...I'm sorry, am I meant to feel sorry for the villain?

Another game I could mention is A Hat in Time by Gears For Breakfast. The developers at some point decided to add a trans pride flag into one of the levels.

They also decided to become the publishers of Here Comes Niko, a game all about a kid running away from home because his parents dislike the fact that he's trooning out. We have a thread for it over here.

We Happy Few nominated for none at all.

Retro 1960s Britain. Everybody is White except for one half pajeeta whose father was a colonial general and who is also a villain character. Only men are policemen, blue collar workers, basically only men are seen doing men’s jobs. There are only two gay characters and they’re walking gay jokes that wear fruity sailor suits. A female character is portrayed as a maneater. She’s a scientist while also being portrayed as a girly girl fashionista/sex symbol and that contrast is played both for laughs and for drama.

Not for Broadcast has a gender neutral named protagonist and some gay couples, but it also portrays some of those gays as really fruity. The story has jokes that are kind of pro-lockdown and what not, but on the whole the story has beats that seem to be subtly anti-Globohomo, like the villains being radical socialists corrupting a democracy, the villains promoting antinatalist propaganda through a troupe of gay performers, Not-Alex Jones being right, Not-Kanye being right, and the villains murdering old people through Canadian style medical euthanasia.

Conclusion:

We Happy Few ABSOLUTELY BASED
Not for Broadcast ABSOLUTELY BASED
Not For Broadcast is surprisingly based, and also surprisingly funny. I recommend everyone to have a look at it on YT

Where does Celeste lie? I wanna place it on HEAVY for the character being a troon alone, but from what I heard it was some ex-dev (who is also a tranny) claiming as such even though there might be no mention of the character's gender at all, until the dev made that Medium article. I could be wrong and it absolutely does mention it in the game, but like hell I'm gonna buy or sit through a playthrough to find out.

I don't know if it's explicitly stated the character's a tranny, as I also never touched the game itself, but it does throw the flags (and pills?) into the final cutscene or whatever. So it's not solely a "dev made it all up after release" thing.

Like the other games, it's going to depend on context and what the game does with it.

Madeline waking up from the bed comes from the Farewell DLC and the article mentions that Madeline wasn't initially designed as transgender in the base game.

If it's put front and center in your face it literally can't be ignored. If it was a note that you need to go out of your way to read or something, that'd qualify as easily ignorable imo. Fir example, I think TLOU1 had something like that, an optional note you could read that mentions two faggot apocalypse survivors.
