The woman hate thread thing is a mystery to me. Was he simping or some shit? I can't imagine going to defend women's comfort in here of all places. Especially when so many people here are against the "redditification" of the site. Hell if you want this to be like an old ass forum, doing the opposite and mocking people for using shit that doesnt matter to stand out should be ridiculed.

We need to develop a psychological profile of Null to determine which OF whore we should crowdfund to show up on his doorstep before he dons a suicide explosive vest or some shit.

I am Andrew Ryan, and I'm here to ask you a question. Is a man not entitled to the sneeding of his brow?
"No!" says the man in Silicon Valley, "It belongs on my platform."
"No!" says the man in Serbia, "Stickers are for dopamine-addicted reddit niggers.'"
"No!" says the man in a dress, "You belong in prison for stochastic terrorism."
This is getting tedious. I'm finding myself manually going back to check my posts just to see peoples engagement. Why do we have a forum if it's not meant to interact with other people? Why not simply make it an option to toggle on/off? I would wager substantially more than 71% of users would have it set to on. What am I missing here? Not every idea is a good idea.
Agreed.
I miss things like if I saw someone negrating a bunch of my old posts about pakis, I'd instantly know to go to their profile and tell them not to redeem.
Such high quality discourse will be posted less now.
I legitimately hate how Watched Threads are just a giant box on the front of the site now. I was perfectly fine with the tiny box on the side as a little reminder that a I forgot to read the latest posts in a thread that I barely post in, that I also missed the watched thread notification for. It was a fallback to the fallback.
Josh wants us to explore other parts of the site, but the only times I did that was either
a)A quick skim through a feature
b)The "Lolcows" forum list- Sometimes I would see the latest activity on a particular thread in a board and the title would interest me, so maybe I would read the OP or skim through the latest activity.
I simply do not care to scroll down that far to see what's going on now. Inb4 "ZOMG YOU LAZY FAGGOT!!!!" yes, I am a lazy faggot, humans are lazy faggots by nature and will usually not go the extra mile to find something that they don't care that much for and don't even know if they like. Most websites know this and work around it. If they want you to explore the site, they will make it as easy as possible. Look at YouTube, for example, you log in and the first thing you see are videos recommended to you, in hopes that you click on them. If you had to scroll down or go to a different page for this, most people wouldn't bother, because most people who go on YouTube weren't planning to go out of their way to look for something new, it was just there. Same thing would apply to KF.
To add insult to injury, the Watched Thread box is not even useful to me because of what threads are at the top. It bumps threads that I'm not finished reading. I have no use in knowing that there's a new update in the Austin thread because I'm on like page 250 of 641.
What's the point of stickers now anyway? They used to fulfil exactly 3 functions:
1) Knowing what people think about a particular post
2) Notifications that someone has reacted to my post
3) Updoot system
The last 2 have stopped working, and the first one will die out on its own sooner or later.
Don't be gay. Remove the stickers altogether or bring them back as they were. There is no middle ground.

It's something I've been noticing ever since they moved all the tranny threads to BP (and the subforum was originally called "Gender Critical", btw). A lot of TERFs have migrated to this site since you get banned for criticizing trannies from basically anywhere else. They appreciate Null for "Creating a safe space for women" (I have actually seen somebody say this), and I do believe Null has gone through steps to accommodate them (hence why all the tranny threads are in BP, like I said).
Call it conspiracy, slander, whatever, but I do believe that, due to sharing a common enemy, Null sees himself as some type of woman defender. He's often spewing feminist talking points on MATI. He deflects by saying that he hates OF whores, but you'd have to be obtuse to not notice that he goes way easier on the women he talks about vs men. And, while I don't go to either the Woman Hate or the Man Hate threads, I have heard that while you get banned at the drop of a hat on the Man Hate thread, people are often allowed to shit up the Woman Hate thread, Null in particular apparently doing it often, which I think it's hypocritical. Idk, it's just weird.

Ok but it doesn't really make sense to Watch a long thread you're in the middle of reading through. If you need a way to remember threads you're reading through I would suggest using the Bookmark feature instead. You can bookmark by clicking the ribbon icon at the top-right of a post. You can even add notes and labels to organize each bookmark.
Your Bookmarks can be accessed by clicking your profile icon at the top of any page and clicking "Bookmarks" which will pop up a list you can scroll through.
I know it sounds like a lot written out, but it's easy in practice especially when you get used to it.

I gave him the benefit of the doubt after some time had passed that it was just a one off anxious rant maybe brought about by the mental stress of all the lockdowns, but idk. Null still has a lot of growing up to do. Anyone that thinks that relationships "solve" your personal problems is in for a world of hurt.
I just also like having threads saved that I’m not actively reading through but catch up every now and again (Like the mega rad gun thread). I think though just the ability to restructure that list would help. If it’s going to be there at least make it a little more customizable to let me use it.

I do use bookmarks. Frankly I don't know why I have that particular thread on "Watched Threads". I must've clicked it when it was first featured and then forgot about it, because you don't get alerts for Watched Threads when they get updated if you haven't caught up, but they do get updated on the box, something that I've never really noticed until now because it was so out of the way. I still think there should at least be an option to move the box.
71.7% want the stickers back. That's a majority of users, why are you catering to people who get whiny about stickers? It tells the user if their post is a good contribution to the thread or not. It allows people to realize when they're being too spergy on the Internet. I've been visiting this site since late 2017 and early 2018, removing a vital part of the forum is counterintuitive.
Just tell people to turn off the computer, goddamn. Listen to the majority, their opinions are the ones that actually matter.
If the numbers read out to something that can scrape it, it will be botted or farmed via sockpuppets. If you thought reddit was bad, wait till the AI posters are deployed in any forum like Instagram influencers for various political and commercial ends. Obfuscating things for outside actors is actually good because nobody actually benefited from knowing their number was over nine thousand.

In truth, I enjoy the female areas of the site the most. It’s what closely resembles the original spirit of the forum. It’s not quite the same, but it can be fun.
What the fuck is the original spirit of the forum? What the fuck kind of forum is his ideal he's striving for? None of this is adequately communicated except through snide remarks, COMMUNICATE NIGGA
