The curator forums got locked pretty fast, the steam chat survives apparently cause its buggy to even get into it (lol gaben), the discord is getting nuked regularly now and I'm sure it won't last the week. Seems like no matter where you go you instantly get nonstop gayops and autoban abuse.

i dont know where the core of their userbase is at the moment. steam? discord? both of those are bad choices. discord because discord in general is turbo pozzed, steam because the platform just isn't well suited for long term discussion or organisation, plus having this stuff tied to your own personal steam account is not good in the long run.

People who think this is going to turn into gamergate 2 are wrong. The difference is that right-wingers have infested the internet in that period, about 10 years behind everyone else as is typical of them. Gamergate 1 was more significant because it was the first time the leftist grift machine got significant backlash on the internet. Nowadays, something like this happens at least every month and everyone will soon forget about it. Too bad, one of gamergate 1's objectives was exposing how corrupt the media was to normies. They succeeded but it turns out no one cares and it doesn't matter.
/v/ is more draconian in their censorship than most reddit subs, but at least reddit doesn't pretend to be the last bastion of free speech. Sad, after all this time trying to avoid it, they still ended up becoming just as bad as the SJWs.

The original games SBI worked on don't look offensive. There's nothing wrong with a side-scroller in a mythical African setting, or a black monster hunter set in the old South (at least from the trailer it looks pretty slick). Go for it.
The problem is when they work on established stories or archetypes. Then their goals shift from diversity and inclusion to destruction. "I have control of this thing you love, boys, and I'm wiping my ass with it."
Make iconic white characters black, make male characters female, make female characters unattractive. Women are strong, men are weak. Traditional good guys are villains, the villains become the hero. Kill everything or subvert it.
And if your main character is queer or female or black, xe can't have any flaws. Xe starts with all the powers and never screws up, never learns, never grows. It's boring as fuck.

It always gets derailed through misdirection on arguing about some pointless semantics that isn't even really all that relevant to the overall subject, and the goal is clear; to make you waste your time, to make you give up, or prove you wrong on some completely irrelevant detail in some pathetic attempt at a claim for some kind of a victory and/or own.
