Sweet Baby Inc. and the Steam Curator Group Conspiracy - The company that is responsible for the diarrheic video game writing.

Checked the Wikipedia page for sweet baby inc and already there are the wildest theories there, ill give it two years before this is remembered as evil gamers hate black folx n latinx in the Noosphere.
Reminds me of the ministry of semitic truth wikipedia editing their USS Liberty page within a day to label it with state-approved conspiracy theories after charlie kirk first got his shit pushed in over it by the groypers. Within a day they had edited that shit, big oy vey. Wonder why the commies rules talk about gaining control of All media?

This blew up faster than my ex-wife. The fact the groups are getting locked down so quickly for simply finding out that a company worked on several video games tells me there is something very sinister going on here.

This is actually unprecedented compared to Gamergate 1. People are vilifying pointing out actual business that actually happened. What ‘harassment’ has even occured?

Best example of a decent new game would be Helldivers 2(even tho it is filled with microtransactions at the moment, but baby steps)
I'm not trying to get into semantics but games like Helldivers 2 actually deserve some props for its microtransaction model. It's not actually "filled" with micro transactions. I'll put it in a collapsable spoiler as to not make a visually bloated post.

tl;dr—Only two things in the game cost money, and you can get these things for free without insane grinding just from playing the game.

- Currency is "Super Credits"
- To buy it outright the prices are: 150 SC = $2 / 375 SC = $5 / 1000 SC = $9.99 / 2100 SC = $19.99 — They don't let you buy anything higher
- Most "microtransaction" part of the game is the superstore, four premium armors that rotate out every 48 hours
- The most expensive thing in this is an armor that costs 400 SC
- Outside of this, Warbonds cost 1000 SC
- The warbond that all players get for free gives you 750 SC if you buy them with medals (you get these from completing missions)
- The current premium warbond (which is where the 1000 SC number comes from) gives you 300 SC for completing its
- The major gamechanger is that if you just play the game you can find SC on missions very regularly. This is typically in denominations of 10 SC. But you can find multiple stacks a mission, leading to you getting 30 or 40 SC a mission if you just go find it
- Last main thing of note is nothing is FOMO'd. Devs have said the warbonds will not be going away. The premium store items just rotate. It's done in such a non-predatory manner that it almost seems like this had some contractual obligation to include a cash shop

Also SC appearing on missions isn't a rare thing. It's common. Extremely common. I have multiple friends who've just played the game on and off and were able to save up to 1000 SC for the upcoming warbond just based off of free drops.

I understand anyones desire to recoil at microtransactions. I hate them too. But Helldivers 2 genuinely is one of the few games I've seen do it right.

I mean I installed a pirated copy of Alan Wake 2 for a day as a benchmark for my GPU, but as a game it is pretty awful. The Saga Anderson character is a blatant black for white race swap and now she whines about straight white men and white privilege at various points of the script. - and no, the game would still not be worth actually playing if she didn't exist. Modern AAA games are turbo canceraids, don't pay a single dollar for them, pirate them and install them just so you can pick them apart, criticise and laugh at them.

The original games SBI worked on don't look offensive. There's nothing wrong with a side-scroller in a mythical African setting, or a black monster hunter set in the old South (at least from the trailer it looks pretty slick). Go for it.
Imo most of indie games they are involved in don't even look that bad, some are pretty good even. I wouldn't mind if they create their own IPs instead of butchering popular franchises we know and love.

Not even worth the time to bother pirating them. Play something good instead.

Just dont buy the games is not rocket science, why do you need to create a retarded organized group?
I think this group wasn't meant as an organized "boycott" / a movement. I've noticed a lot of people saying "boycott" like this is some movement. It was just meant to be "SBI is involved with this. Here's proof." and that's that.

As for organization... Historically speaking, Gamers are THE quintessential model of a "Consooomer". Pretty much every other demographic be it movies, tv shows, cars, plastic trains, etc. whatever will just not buy or engage with something if they don't like it. Visual media like shows and movies and what not have changed over time though with the advent of online content production as well as social media ragebaiting. The concept of getting people to "hate watch" has legitimately become viable over the past few years.
But the video game player demographic has just been mentally rotted for decades now. Game bad? Buy it anyways. Game have less features? But it anyways. Mad about DLC and microtransactions? But it anyways. etc. you get the picture. Some organization would genuinely help retards vote with their wallet because without that, they're just gonna consooom if historical trends are anything to go off of. Gamers that actually just don't buy the thing that upsets them are a surprising minority. But also games are reaching new heights of price and new lows of quality. So perhaps it has hit a breaking point.

Fuck Sweet Baby, You can just contact Sneed Baby to consult you on writing top tier kino instead!

"Yeah, you should definitely make Kratos battle Allah in the next game. Cast a trans woman as Muhammad, and make sure to give xer adequate screen time. That will check all of your ESG boxes."

To wit, as shockingly bland and derivative as Starfield is, it has already become profitable for Bethesda. Big game releases with big marketing spends will continue to be gay and woke and anti-fun as long as the masses of retard normies with no taste financially reward them.

Late post award.
Also I forgot to mention that the little girl robot is also a prostitute that your quirky lesbian boss hires for the quirky lesbian protagonist after the shift you talk to her.
Isnt it impiled she doesnt do anything anything to her and mostly was because jill ends up spazzing out over treating her lesbo lover like shit
( the jokes write themselves ) and dana hires the robo girl to comfort her.

I agree wholeheartedly. And I specially cannot stand Gary (NerdROTic) with his libertarian mindset thinking that's "the correct way to go".
Their "laugh at them" and "Don't act like them. Be better tactics" sure worked well when the far left and sjws would push the envelop further, even sacrificing their own sheep for the goals. Sometimes you have to fight fire with fire. Fuck G&G.

I put together a new PC a month ago and pirated a bunch of the big-name games of the last few years to test things out. Holy SHIT, they're so boring.

I kinda regret even building the thing because I'm already right back to playing old games and emulation on it.

I'm in the same boat, running PS2 games rn (Timesplitters: Future Dark deserves a PC port, Homefront had a HD port for Timesplitters 2). Nearly a decade spent without a PC & I made a monster nearly a month ago with next 10 years in mind, & nothing new is even worth pirating anymore except indies. The most "modern" games I'm playing rn are Watch Dogs 1 & 2 cause Ubisoft gave them out for free multiple times (I'm gonna play Black Flag & Far Cry 3 + Blood Diamond next).

I'll just learn Uneaal Engine & Blender to make use of my rig.
