Someone on reddit started randomly sperging at me that kids need diy HRT or they'll kill themselves and I just responded, "okay."

A lot of things could cause suicide. A lonely incel could kill themselves for never losing their virginity. Would we mandate a professional to have sex with them? Would we create incel clinics of medical prostitutes?

I can only assume a suicidal person is deeply unhappy with their reality VS personal expectations across the board. This is the only known instance to me since lobotomies where you forcibly create physical changes in an attempt to subvert reality.

But on a personal level these papers sort of killed whatever remaining respect I had for the medical community on average. I'm sure there's very good, smart, talented people out there but the average person is just so stupid. Some of this shit reads like Victorian era medical research. Some of these people are just as qualified to be an average clinician in a clinic I could go to.

Dr Phil spoke about this on Joe Rogan and said he was creating content about how it looks pretty damaging to suggest children be allowed to transition. I don't like either of these men but it would be interesting to see if Dr Phil can reach a new/different crowd with these ideas, although I'm sure he's already accepted his role as a right wing TERF. But maybe it'll empower a few fence sitters.

I genuinely believe that If you're a whole grown man fervently & passionately advocating for "trans child care" with all the buzzwords and jargon attached, I seriously think you need to get your hard drive checked ASAP.
