Even if it does not cover her pre-existing conditions, travel insurance could be useful for things like food poisoning, car accidents, and such. I believe that health insurance is required to receive a family visa, but she firstly needs to pass the physical exam, thus the emphasis on getting healthy lately.

I just can’t think of any benefit she brings to a relationship, she can’t even get an immigrant papers. Literally all she does is filth up her surroundings and eat, the only tiny benefit would be in her death but she can’t even do that right anymore. I know we keep saying she has benefitted Salah at least a bit, but I don’t think the shame she continues to bring him is worth a slightly better apartment to hide her in.

Things will get very dicey when she gets to the point she can’t travel by plane anymore and it feels like that point is approaching. She keeps thinking she’ll go back to Canada if anything goes seriously wrong but she might not be able to. That teeny bit of money she’s bringing in won’t last if she has to pay real medical bills and not just little clinic visits - compound that with no ability to travel and she’s SOL.

Completely understandable. As we all know this has been the least entertaining arc of Chantal to date (in my opinion) and not much is going on with lil'ol Mariham It's a tad hard to keep this thread alive unless something is going on which hopefully with Ramaham taking place and the soon to be boarder hop (if she travels/records anything) hopefully boosts the thread more.
