What does "unexpectedly not home" even mean?
So something popped up that disabled his ability to come home? Like what, a car accident? Flight being cancelled for the day?
Such a sleezy, nasty NPL.

Is that juxtaposed by "expectedly not home"?

This guy it a Engrish literatere major, or sth.

At this point, I really wonder if he just mentally done with the show and has already checked out. Dealing with a setback by passively quitting would be exactly in character for Nick.
I think it's what you say. He likes easy money and easy fame. Now that he's slipping and he would actually have to try and work to pull out of his nosedive, I think he'd rather slack off than try.

eros.com verified humiliation session turned from outcall to an in-call at the last minute probably because one of the annoying kids came home early

he is keeping his life more private now. Bit late to repair the reputation

I like how Nick is almost not needed anymore. Through his relentless efforts, he built the reputation of a gay cuck swinger, where he merely has to mention that he won't be home - unexpectedly - and everyone knows what's up.

The most interesting part to me is the "shows should return tomorrow". No guarantee. No assurance or promise that they will. Almost setting up that he will cancel again.
It depends on if Tyrone is available.

I think it's what you say. He likes easy money and easy fame. Now that he's slipping and he would actually have to try and work to pull out of his nosedive, I think he'd rather slack off than try.
I’ve never known a sole business try quiet quitting but here we are.

HE SUCKS DICKS FOR COCK BECAUSE IT'S SO FUNNAY!
FTFY

And with another show cancelled, he potentially loses another viewer who happens to find something else that night to watch instead that they will prefer to tune into on a Monday, or every weeknight at that time.

He has just given up at this point.
All he had to do was turn on the webcam, tune into a trial and give some commentary and he was making $$$.
He is so damn bitter that everyone else came along and can do it better than him.

He can’t accept the glaringly obvious, that the only reason he had such success, was that he was the ONLY fish in a small pond.
Once any more fish were added to the YouTube mix, he was a goner.

That's part of it but the rot is so much deeper. There was a time when "lawsplaining the interwebs" wasn't an inaccurate tagline. Sure there was the focus on salacious/lolcow material (like Maddox and Greer and the Weebwars) but even that was in the context of meaningful analysis. Whilst he was never shy in parading his opinions, he kept separation between what he thought the situation/law should be and what he thought it actually is. He addressed and gave the counterarguments to his preferred outcome That's hugely important to credibility and without that he has nothing.

Those days are long gone. There were some early warning signs. Remember the "Cuck Commander" IP issue? He nailed his colours to the mast in absolutely unequivocal terms. There was no doubt. He was right, they were wrong and righteous vindication was inevitable. And then all went quiet, it's never spoken of again and his inevitable outcome never arrives. The Monty nonsense has a similar feel albeit he can't turn off the public nature of that one.

And then we had the Vic Mignogna saga. There was a level of cringe with Ty Beard on stream (and his Amazons - who seemed to be embarrassed to varying degrees by the performances). But the streams remained good. He criticised Beard's filings where he thought mistakes were made. What we didn't know, in the early days, was just how incompetent Beard was (the notary episode was inexcusable for any lawyer) and his performances on paper and in Court just became more embarrassing as time went on. It became increasingly obvious that Beard was not competent to take the case and the fault for that lies not only with Beard but also the lawyer who made the referral (Rekeita). The personal/financial connections just made things worse as did the fact the Mignogna seems to be so thoroughly decent and wholesome. His refusal/inability to honestly address those issues reinforced the decline.

Rittenhouse was probably his high point in terms of only fish in the pond and Depp was the revelation (to him at least) that the pond had some new inhabitants. Yes, Legal Bytes (and Law and Lumber) f'ed up but others being wrong doesn't mean Rekeita is right. He bought into the Pope of LawTube (while not being part of LawTube) way too much. The level of entitlement (sorry for using that awful word) and ego far exceeded reality.

In parallel the "lawsplaining the interwebs" elements fell away and was replaced by degeneracy for the sake of degeneracy, an obsession with alcohol (and cigars) in indulging the loudest and most embarrassing parts of his "community".

He has become what he gained his success from ridiculing. Frankly it's embarrassing.

It's a cautionary tale for our times!

Does rumble show off its contracted creators every so often? It'd be interesting to see if the balldo is featured.

In 2 weeks Rumble is having a their Q4 '23 conference call. Perhaps some investors will call in and ask about strategy around talent acquisition and retention, metrics they use to determine if a contract was successful and so on? I'm not sure how much detail, if any, they would share about specific talent, but it's possible that Investor Relations would have more to say if asked about brand risk and contracted talents public behavior. For example, is there a general morality clause?

If I were an investor in Rumble, I would be asking more questions around how views are counted. Since it seems the government investigation is over, maybe they will say more publicly about it now.

Horrifying, he really is riding the vtuber wave for money. I don't watch much legaltubers anymore, but this guy rubs me the wrong way more so than nick did several years ago. Maybe I'm overly cynical but he just comes off as way too sincere about all this vtuber shit. It feels like that Vee guy who is with Sargon and SFO, but from a legaltube standpoint. Just using vtubers as a way to self promote themselves. Although if I'm being honest that's what all these fuckers ever do is. But at least some of them are a little more subtle about it.
The best part of the vtuber stuff with Andrew is that the person who convinced Andrew to getting into said vtuber stuff was The Dragon's Treasure, which was that tea company that used to sponsor Nick during the height of Weeb Wars.
It goes to show don't spit in the face of those who give you gifts.
If you take Mindset at his word
Absolutely don't take any of these people at their words.
What does "unexpectedly not home" even mean?
Either its a bullshit lie for too hungover or their ass is getting turned inside out.

Nick really thinks he's a Dean Martin type of guy. That he can stay constantly drunk and still be Mr. Charisma, all the time. Except anyone who watches him for more than 10 seconds instantly feels disgust, and not enjoyment.

That's a Balldo:
Ooooh, when the booze hits your throat
Like a big sagging scrote, that's a Balldo.

When you make friends with a swine
Like a bitch that can't help but whine, that's a Balldo

Dicks will swing, ding-a-ling-a-ling
Ding-a-ling-a-ling, you'll be crying "mia bottiglia"

Sean you'll shout, twiggy-twiggy-twig
Twiggy-twiggy-twig, like a gay Nicholas Rekieta.

To be fair, he seems to be more knowledgable about anime than nick did. While nick would just talk about dragon ball and ninja scroll and then rant about only wanting "ninjas/robots/tits" without mentioning specifics, this dude seems to actually know alot more when his weeb guest and superchatters knowledge check him, sometimes about manga I've never heard of that I had to look up and it turned out to be depressing 4chan /a/ material (welcome to nhk like stuff). So if he's faking it, I'm impressed.

You can't convince me this guy is paying to get humiliated when he could just stay home and do his stream instead.

Ty Beard only really fucked up in his initial filing which dumped a bunch of trash on the court. Supposedly that strategy of his actually won before (or so Nick said), but it ran up against the core problem that this time he wasn't facing lazy insurance lawyers for some contractor (the hardest battles Ty ever faced since his main job was signing paperwork for mergers between corporations) but was facing the yap yap dog lawyer hired by a yap yap dog of a human being who was glad to meet his trash filing with more trash. Ty actually improved after that, and in court too, and his main defect was not notarizing paperwork which is legal malpractice and I hope Vic wasn't charged a dime (and if he was, then he's stupid enough he deserves to be robbed like that). Even when it was happening, Ty really shouldn't have been getting smashed on Nick's show the night before filings were due, especially not when ranting about he was the Sun Tzu of Texas law. Probably not a surprise that BHBH became just BH during that case--the latter two were serious attorneys (one of whom was a Republican member of Texas's state legislature).

I will maintain that if Nick Rekieta ever did anything good in his sodden life, it was acting as Vic Mignogna's free PR agent since he did a nice job exposing the trash human beings who slandered Vic to a wide audience. It's just a shame he himself was a trash human being who loved the whole affair for the free money and getting to project his own diseased brain onto his fellow cuckold Ron Toye. It would be funny to compare Ronversations era Nick to late 2022-onward Nick.
