I can't stomach listening to trash cast mostly rely on clips now days, but after shitting on Iron Age multiple times now he is openly pramoting them? I mean its not like he has 2 dozen CG simp creators that have never got a promotion what's the play here? or am I reading it wrong?

A partial review of tonights Ethan Van Sciver ragestream, Ethan, Malin and Shane did a nearly three hour analysis of perhaps a five minute trailer for Yaira.

Then Ethan rather predictably shits all over Graham Nolan's involvement. The cover is obviously "bad art" and Nolan didn't even try. Malin starts talking about jizz and then Ethan joins in talking about the jizz going right into the faces and then adding in sound effects to come across as even more gay. Malin then references the dungoneers to make the point that Nolan is as dead to them as those people are and asks "what can be going on in Graham's mind".

Part of the explanation offered by Ethan is obviously the money. Because in the new SJW comicsgate, making money is a bad thing just like sales are now a bad thing.

Ethan explains how "hard" he and shane work. Compared to their work, Graham obviously isn't trying and is just driven by greed. Malin is left out of the hard trying artists by Ethan and doesn't notice. Shane is careful during the dressing down of Nolan to say absolutely nothing. And don't think Ethan didn't notice Shane.

Really sad stuff. Ethan Van Sciver at his most pissy feeling sorry for himself worst.

Oh, that's nothing. I think it was already posted in this thread (I can go find it if not), but a couple of weeks ago the Masterson camp had Vaush (yes, that Vaush) on to educate him about "anti-woke comics." That's even more on the nose.

I think it's clear FROG never believed in any of this shit. This is an unholy alliance forged out of perceived need by FROG to knock July out of the game so FROG can be king of the grift again. I don't think he cares who he gets into bed with anymore.

CG needs to fucking die already.

People were asking a little while ago why EVS put Coomy on his Kings roster. I wonder if this is all part of EVS' latest scheme to pivot his identity from Emperor of Comics to working class hero? He's loveable loser Froggy Balboa, Coomy is his Paulie, and EJ is big, bad Apollo Creed. EJ has all the money and fame, but Froggy Balboa is a schlub with heart who deserves your pity... and your superchats/comic backing.

I look forward to watching him continue his descent into SJW commie ideology and victimhood identity.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't FROG only get into this after seeing the success Zack/Diversity in Comics had with Jawbreakers? Must of seen the money and thought he could drag out a campaign.

How is comics delivered on time to a fan base that clearly likes them (1m in new campaign record) a grift? Grift implies no product delivered, like FROG does. Maybe that's why he is so defensive?

It’s really really sad that they have to latch onto a live action announcement trailer for a comic in order to have any actual reason to shit on Eric July other than “waaaaaaaaah, I don’t like that he’s more popular than me, waaaaaaah!”

I just watched the Yaira trailer. One of the first lines is essentially Isom saying "I can't fly", lol.

I thought it was OK, the accent was a weird choice, especially since the chick sounds normal in the "making of" vid.
Definitely has a CW look to it, and given where it was shot, I wouldn't be surprised if there was crew from those shows that worked on the trailer.
Not sure what the complaints are other than the accent, honestly.

The white-haired guy looked familiar, he's been in a bunch of stuff.

The making of was kind of funny in that there were moments where the actors seemed ready to rant about female empowerment. Actors truly have a very limited number of talking points.

Called it yesterday - EVS simply couldn’t help himself and appears to have turned on Nolan. Whatever faults may or may not be present on Nolan’s cover, the way he is venting against Nolan’s work by proxy of being involved with Yaira was entirely fucking predictable.

Nothing to stop Nolan leaving CG and getting into July’s ‘gate’ lock stock and barrel. Graham seems a good guy, I wish him all the best.

The spiral from EVS is destroying everything. At this point the fat bastard needs an intervention. Are his wife and autistic daughter even seeing him at this point??!

Nah, this is deserved karma. EVS fucked around for years, and now he's gonna find out what happens when his bullshit catches up to him. He needs to be humbled and dethroned so that maybe some creatives who want to do business in good faith with their customers can get more attention.

I don't know if I have it in me to watch hours on end cope streams from Frog anymore. Frog works hard? Really? He lives on Youtube chasing super chats. There is something to be said for getting a commercial product out and letting it stand as is. Video games, tv, movies all have release dates and if Frog had business sense, he'd also get his books out in a more timely manner. We saw the result of George Lucas endless tinkering with Star Wars. Speilberg admits the Walkie Talkie change in ET was a mistake. As for comics, plenty of artists work the monthly grind and put out quality stuff.
