I always thought this way about him. There's a lot of comics of his or rather opinions that are outright dumb, especially when he once defended Ethan Ralph. But usually I do like most of his comics and at least there's a quick punchline to them without a word salad strung to it.
He's still fucked up hard for not realizing that someone at his reach should've covered his tracks hard. He should've had a separate account tied to his stonetoss persona.

If he is RedPanels (and that really is purely inferential and when you consider the STRONGEST evidence of this is the similar art styles and that if you look at the end of RedPanels and the beginning of StoneToss the similarity is most pronounced), then he may have shut down that identity because he realized he'd made an opsec blunder (possibly even the very use of that email address to sign up to Gab) and decided to try to salvage things.

Even if he did go away (and someone took up the mantle and maybe even deliberately imitated his style), it has the look that something spooked him.
