Should sticker notifications be brought back?

Like I'm going to do anything but maybe call you a faggot. I also have a general rule that I don't even report someone if I'm going to argue with them because that's just a bitch move. All Retired Staff means is Null didn't rip the broom out of your hand and fire you.
Hey man you just asked the question and I was giving an answer. You're kinda prolific though. I think I might have actually heard of AnOminous from Kiwi Farms before I even joined. I think between that, the fact that you talk about a lot of higher level things like legal proceedings, and have a retired staff banner (even if it doesn't do anything) generally makes people afraid to talk shit.

While I never cared to much one way or the other on the stickers thing, I have noticed that I pretty much stop using stickers almost once the point display and notifications got turned off. Like why bother giving someone a winner sticker if they are never gonna see it or know its there. Hasn't really hurt my experience with the site yet but it does make the site feel less engaging.

If I'm posting stupid shit in a thread I want to know about it. Stickers can be helpful in that way.

Rate this post dumb, I won't ever see it. I'll be retarded forever. But if you're truly helpful you can reply to my post and tell me I'm dumb.
You are loved and appreciated.

I hope you have a wonderful day

I give you a :feels:

Does that mean there's some not quite snobbery but a bit of conflict that led to some kind of faggatration low level ok'ness?
Would you want to moderate this forum of fine individuals? Would you want to do it forever, for free?

Use it as a form of peaceful protest, either that or you have to comment one every post with one of the comment stickers. :drink:

I was curious so took a look and the first post I clicked:

less said the better i think.
That's exactly the point I'm making. Stickers can cut off pointless banter if a user cares about them. If stickers were still counted and notifications were a thing then I wouldn't have bothered making this meaningless post to tell you that you proved my point.

Alternative: you can still use stickers despite notifications being removed instead of having ODD

What's wrong with you? It WAS on option to turn it all off.

Now it's not an option to turn it on. DUHH GRR Look up the boss Tanaka thing.
But you can still look at them, just like everyone else can. Some people who turned off notifications mentioned they had already used the reactions received page. You're just looking for a reason to be upset even though literally nothing happened to you. If reactions being moved one click away changed who you are as a poster, maybe the change was justified.

Ok, yeah, you can look it up. Fine, that's ok.

But some of us liked that it added engagement. WHY IS IT A PROBLEM TO HAVE NOTIFICATIONS?

Why make it more clicks away? I'm NEVER seen any reason to make it more clicks to see it.

You're saying I like it cause I'm a bad poster, so I see it and need to leave the site.

Nice double post :^)

But some of us liked that it added engagement.
And some of us didn't appreciate repeated engagement for the sake of engagement. Some threads would benefit from less "engagement", it defeated the very purpose of stickers being introduced, which was to reduce the amount of posts that contributed little to nothing to the topic.

Because it is broken as a primary navigation method, which is how many people were using it. Some of those people came to this thread to describe how they now care less about conforming to the thread consensus as a result of this change, and the user score being removed. We'd hate to make a group-think hugbox the norm, wouldn't we?

You're saying I like it cause I'm a bad poster, so I see it and need to leave the site.
I didn't say you're a bad poster, true as that may be. Either way, you're free to leave like anyone else is. Maybe you should if you're upset and not laughing.
