It was cool at first and the criticisms they got were mostly valid, but eventually the talking points got stale and the people criticizing them turned out to be massive hypocrites. Enter has gotten a lot of shit over the years and rightfully so. But at least he’s learned his lesson and is trying to be better unlike most other lolcows.

Enter's golden age as a lolcow ended with the Growing Around Indiegogo. I get the impression that its failure knocked some sense into him, because ever since then his funny moments have been increasingly rare and fleeting, and he's been taking his ventures more seriously. His Covid era was insane on his part but especially in hindsight it was more of a sadcow arc than anything, and Turning Red was a brief blip of what I'd consider an exception that proves the argument.

I think this year might lead into his renaissance as a creator though, if he plays his cards right.

Back in like 2017-2019, most of his team was made up of teenagers. They're all the same people now though, so they're in their early-mid 20s.

What Enter seems to dance around in all of this is that Stargiant is obviously, blatantly, incredibly autistic. And only from having a few stats dumped into charisma is he able to groom, coerce and bully people somehow even more autistic than he is. It's very easy to argue that he's just too stupid to realize than anything hes been doing is wrong and he is just a victim of his own retardation. Too autistic to know that ripping off anime is illegal, too autistic to realize that lusting over people under the age of 18 is illegal, too autistic to know you can't post giantess porn in the same place as minors. etc.

All it takes is one therapist to write a report saying 'Stargiant is too retarded to be responsible for his actions' to end any case against him. Only that might come out of this is his parents cuttin' it down, but all that does is cut off the milk supply. So thanks, Enter. I guess.

I wouldn’t read too deeply into that. Autistic people tend to act and behave much younger than they are. It could simply be that Enter found it easier to relate to teens that with adults his own age. I don’t condone it but it doesn’t automatically make him a creep.

I haven't thought of Mr. Enter in years. I don't have fond memories of his work per se as I was already too old for his content during his peak years but I watched a video of his here and there, taking them with a grain of salt but enjoying them in their own spergy way. I also was vaguely aware of the Growing Around drama from afar, and generally I just enjoyed knowing that crazy autist was out there somewhere still doing his thing.

Now I'm only like 5 minutes into this video and already punching the air like I'm watching a sports game. This is incredible.

He's always been super woke (he identifies as asexual), but being an autist in a Tumblrite community like cartoons will do that to you. Hopefully this whole situation will get more people in the cartoon community to peak, especially since Enter uses the right pronouns and you can't dismiss him as a random chud.
