Going through the proper channels such as working with a professional therapist is something that takes a lot of time (likely years) and the process is known to be difficult and painful because you have to confront the reality of your trauma in order to work though it. I don't know who came up with this offshoot of "exposure therapy" that's been twisted into "drawing pornography of children is my coping mechanism" but whoever it is should be hanged.
