I'm dipping in and out of FFG's live stream and I'm convinced she's read The Art of War. Meanwhile, the zupachats are rolling in, lol. The speed in which Chins got that plaque is really suspicious, IMHO. YT had to verify her channel (just this past week), engrave the fucking thing, then ship it to Kuwait in less than two weeks? If it is legit, YT certainly is efficient. I remember Amberlynn complaining about how long it was taking to get hers and she lived in Kentucky.

I spent more time than I should have finding someone that was holding an actual plaque sent by YouTube, because the first results when I typed in, “silver play button” into the search bar were fake ones available through eBay and shady looking, third party websites. There were multiple listings that look like the one that Chantal is holding. And they’re customizable. You can get one for less than $100.

Once again; not saying that it’s fake. But if I want one with Gef Mongoose on it, I could easily get one right now.

Oh FFS, why has this become such a thing? The top line (which is in a smaller font) is obscured by the packaging, but it's definitely there. Look closer. (This reminds me of the "What color is the dress?" debate that went around almost decade ago.) Bottom line. Who gives a shit? That button is a meaningless hunk of junk, no matter how it was acquired. Same with the verified checkmark.

And how could I have forgotten about her periodic apologies to Nads after not being able to shut up about "proivate" things about him? That was a cycle in and of itself. Any and every "apology" she ever made to anyone was self-serving.

This guy has 194K subscribers. Why is he just now getting his plaque? Chantal got hers the minute she cracked 100K, even while her numbers were wildly fluctuating below and above 100K. Sort of lends credence to the speculation that her plaque came much too quickly for it to be real.

I haven't seen Fatso's letter, but she probably got the most recent version, which is Mohan's. However, this proves nothing either way. If counterfeit plaques are a thing, I would assume the letters would be counterfeit too. Most likely, hers is legit. But who the fuck ever knows with her?

Which is closer to the norm than people realize. Most Youtubers who get that many subs either bought a chunk of them, they "know people" who helped get their channels launched (oftentimes using "referral codes"), they rely on dead accounts that no one uses anymore to pad their numbers, or in the rare chance they did it legitimately, everyone assumes they cheated to get it anyways so it doesn't matter.

It's simply how the game is played. You might as well seethe at Billie Eillish or Travis Scott for astroturfing their success too.
