I don’t think anyone’s jealous, though. We all know Austin is not in an enviable position. He’s lost more money than most people could ever fathom on Stake and his crack-addled brain is the only reason he doesn’t fully realize it and snap.

Still though, you have to look at the short-term here. Austin was a few button clicks away from having $20k when he started with only a couple thousand. There are a lot of people who live paycheck to paycheck and could legitimately change their lives with that kind of money. Instead, they’re watching the crack addict who lives with his parents and presumably doesn’t even buy groceries sit with tens of thousands of dollars in his wallet and completely blow through it in minutes for a dopamine rush. For some people it has to be utterly surreal, most of us from Western Europe/the US even if we're not exactly comfortable financially can put things into perspective a little bit because being down bad bad bad where we live tends to take some effort. No matter how bad you fuck up your kids can go to school, you can eat, scuffed as it may be you can survive off of whatever social programs your place has.

Ya I have to disagree with you here. It's like BMJ's logic has rubbed on you in the sense that he only believes he makes money when he wins gambling. Someone donated $10,000 to me? I'm not up fat, but when he gambles that and is sitting at $20,000 NOW he's up fat.

The point is that he's still raking in a lot of money prior to actually gambling. He gets $4500 a week from Stake and has been sitting on $10,000+ kick subscription checks for 3-4 months in a row now. Those kick paychecks alone(if sustained) would be $150,000 a year and that absolutely is making more than the average American.

If you could switch places with bmj for just a few months and not be a braindead gambling addict you would easily have $100k in your bank account.
