Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

Okay, that's hilarious. Ukraine created a whole stage of a Russian polling station for a psyop about the horrors of elections in Russia, but they were too lazy to find the right uniform and at least change the scene a little bit before recording the second video.

They didn't even bother putting tables or some writing surface in these fake voting booths?

Most likely because they already wager that the dumbasses of today refuse to double-check anything for deceptive tinkering (and in that sense, they're unfortunately correct). I'm willing to bet that the average person who has seen the video doesn't notice the discrepancy between the outfits of the hohols and real Russian uniforms

We don't fight that way in the West because we decided allowing the horrors of war go that extreme is monstrously evil, and we don't want to be evil. It's not because raping a woman, then tying her limbs to a pair of horses so she can be torn apart in front of villagers to convince them not to disobey doesn't work. It does work! It's because it's evil.
Dude, the West morally justifies every action it takes, doesn't matter how detrimental to the opposing party. Years later it self criticises itself, then claims moral superiority for having done so, and justifies its subsequent aggression, because of it.
Every "evil" action brought up by adversaries is discarded as "whataboutism".

No I think he is right, he was trying to include russia in 'we dont do that', in reference to randomly massacring people for no benefit

So there is a method to the madness. Ukraine can keep shelling Belgorod from its territory to force Russia to react and cause it to reallocate at least some of its forces, disrupting the already established plan for the spring/early summer offensive. Kiev is trying to force Moscow to play by their rules.

Not really. They can only shell Belgorod by moving weapons systems from critical areas of the frontline which have a need for them. On the Russian side, what happens is that the resources used to hunt down those weapons systems temporarily move from one area of the front to a different area of the front. They are still doing the same mission just in a different and less well defended place than the frontlines.

There is no particular need on the Russian side to allocate additional infantry, tanks or other weapons systems to the area from elsewhere. Its just a matter of enough force to destroy the weapons systems attacking Belgorod.

Ukraine's method, as always, is to conduct military operations that generate headlines in the western media rather than military operations of actual use in the war. All of the resources devoted to the sideshow operations over the Russian border would have been better spent against the Russians on the frontlines of the real conflict.

The attacks on Belgorod do not seem to even be against military targets. They are just randomly shelling an area.

Ir's not your money you filthy goy, it's our money! The fucking entitlement of these hohol жыд.

Voting in the Russian Federation:

Uh-huh.

Yup.

Residents of the village of Orlik came to the polling station in yak costumes.

If you can not come to the polling location, it will come to you.

Goodies and traditional Tartar dress.

Bobr voted.

Buryats on their ponies and traditional dress got to their polling station.

Nomads trek 150 km on snowmobile to vote.

Cheburashka voted as well.

A 100 year old veteran in Dagestan voted. Look at those medals. I bet he earned them for actually doing something, and not just showing up somewhere like General Mark "Never saw combat" Milley.

Vote? Sure, and get married too.

Can't leave the polar bears out. (Actual polar bear not included, polling stations not responsible for actual polar bear incidents, please refer to your Russian voter manual for details).

Today, 16 March 2024 is the first day of voting for the Russian presidential election in Avdeevka; not only for the military, but also for citizens to express their will.

Even a robot voted (although this is just for laughs, I'm sure).

Or is it?

Soldiers currently in service qualified for early voting (video from 4 March);

The preliminary results will be released tomorrow on 17 March at 21:00 Moscow Time (GMT+3).

Reminder that voting for a President is something no one in the democratic and pro-Western Ukraine can do right now, despite Zelensky's term running out and thus being ineligible to hold office after 20 May 2024.

Macron wants to propose an Olympic ceasefire to Russia, a country that has been banned from participating in the Olympics.

And what exactly do they expect to offer Russia in return? They're currently leading the war, so a ceasefire is only negatives on the face of it, giving the enemy time to consolidate and close gaps they could have exploited.

I keep seeing these leaders sort of just assume that they can write out what they want, send it over, and just sort of expect it to happen, or 'compromise' by still giving nothing but getting a smaller version of what they wanted. Doesn't really work when you've already pulled all the soft power cards against a country though.

Around 5 days ago Putler had interview with Russian journo where he said he got offer from some (smarter) western leaders to freeze this war, but he told them fuck off. Because he knows they only want it to buy time to rebuild and restart this war at later date.

At this point I believe once both Nato and Kyf will start taking negotiations seriously. This war will reach point where Russians will accept only unconditional surrender.

Russian bots interfere in yet another election.
(What are they saying?)

Didn't the Georgian war occur during the Olympics too? Fool me once and all that.

Summery:

Russian forces have attacked another previously quiet part of the front line around Gulyaypole, and have taken the village Mirnoye.

It was defended by territorial defense units whom also tried to counter attack. Unsuccessfully!

And now Ukrainians will have to find more battle-ready reserves if they want to try and stabilize this part of the front line or pull their troops from other places of the front line.

@Feline Supremacist that is actually a hilarious and a good way to entice your citizenship to vote making it fun gotta give it to the russians
