The anti-Sweet Baby crowd seems to have 3 different groups when it comes to who is involved in it:Funny enough, I was talking to someone about this a bit ago and they asked me what the difference was between the SBI types and the Stellar Blade types who think the latter is somehow sticking it to the former. I did not have a good answer, honestly.
Maybe those are the actual teams, not Team Blue vs. Team Red.
1. People upset with bad writing and bad gaming experiences overall.
2. Right-leaning individuals who dislike the left-leaning dominance in the video game industry that results in censorship and the spreading of propaganda.
3. Fan service game enthusiasts who are stuck between a rock and a hard place because while they don't agree with the other factions entirely they also know consultancy firms similar to the one that Kim Belair operates usually don't really care for sexualizing women and if they do they have a good chance of going against what is conventionally attractive for social justice purposes or to oppose what they see as "hypersexualization".
Everyone is on kind of board for their own reasons and such but not to worry, the end of the day all are united as one because the most ardent of SBI defenders will just call everyone a Nazi anyway regardless of what anyone says.
