Don't remember when bio dad died. James was murdered while recovering from drug addiction about 25 years ago. He had a very strained relationship with Robin and was generally a massive fuckup, but he did view Polissa as a daughter. He was the one that got her on birth control when she became sexually active in high school.

Besides James, Polissa was close with her grandfather/Mamaw's husband. He was the one whose car Polissa inherited/Joh totaled. Mamaw lives in a cluttered home herself so I can't imagine her trailer was pristine when he was alive. Still worlds better than Hell House or La Casa from what little we've seen (at least until Pissa fully moves the zoo in).

Two things I can say of certainty of this life! One, everything you've ever dreamed and wanted for yourself will be flung effortlessly at people who will neither appreciate or deserve it!
