Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

I've seen many videos that claim that FPV drones are a promising tool of war and that the Ukrainians believe they can make up for the lack of artillery ammunition.

Personally, I think they're an effective anti-personnel weapon and can potentially hobble and destroy armoured vehicles but I really doubt they're the answer to the ammunition shortage. FPV's can't carry big payloads to destroy fortified areas and they're vulnerable to jamming. Better EW capabilities in the future will close this window of tactical edge, but for now, they're just another innovation that makes the offense very difficult to perform.
You're correct.

When a FPV drone gets so big it can lug at least an 82mm mortar shell or equivalent load of TNT or the equivalent to a 105mm to 155mm artillery shell of TNT it's suddenly quite expensive.

It's no longer a cheap throwaway weapon.

Oh and a howitzer can shoot 25+km while the vast majority of FPV drones max out at 5km

FPV drones are all good and dandy, but if you can't manufacture explosives for the artillery shells, then you can't manufacture explosives for the drones either, and you'll run out of RPG warheads sooner or later, so the problem is exactly the same.

Drones are good for different things than artillery.

Democracy is a fake and gay creation of the kikes.

Traditional monarchy or Fascism are the only truly viable forms of just rule.

Imperium of Man when?

There are rumors of the first batch of frenchies(about 2000) getting ready to cross over into Ukraine really soon, they are supposedly already in Moldova.
In couple of months there will be EU elections. So I dont think Macron will try anything, before they are behind us. Because dragging your country into unecessary war dont look like winning move to me. But on the other he is Macron he is full of surprises.

I would be very surprised if this French intervention materializes, most likely they will just end up stationed in some Eastern country indefinitely as a cope.
The consequences if it did might be interesting to see, though it would probably get quickly forgotten about after everyone else decides not to follow the French's lead.

To inform our Eastern friends on this thread: The Satanic Temple is the shitlib wing of satanism, basically edgy teacher union athiests with hatred of their fathers and Christ unlike the Objectivist inspired Church of Satan which tend to be weird heroin junkies with a pointlessly weird world view. The Karl Kasarda thread will illuminate you on the difference

The TST faggyness is so much I have day dreams of making a uneasy coalition with the CoS types to round them up and defenestrate them upon their rainbow Baphomet statue with bonus points awarded for amusing impalements.

They're all Heretics, burn them at the stake.

Listening to Zaihans latest Video Apparently Ukraine launched UAVs into the Black Sea that ended up taking down a Patrol Ship and some sort of military transport vehicle. I don't imagine this is going to do much to Russia as a whole my only concern would be if they manage to cut off Crimea by putting the Kurch Straight permanently out of commission.

The Russian side has information that France is preparing a military contingent of 2,000 troops to be sent to Ukraine, Director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) Sergey Naryshkin said.

"The current leadership of the country (France - TASS) does not care about the deaths of ordinary French people or about the concerns of the generals. According to information coming to the Russian SVR, a contingent to be sent to Ukraine is already being prepared. Initially, it will include around 2,000 troops," he said.

According to the Russian foreign intelligence chief, the French military "fears that such a large military unit cannot be transferred and stationed in Ukraine unnoticed."

I recall that in the previous threads some people suggested giving up tanks/IFVs entirely and just take the offensive with bikes and light vehicles. Back then I thought the suggestion was retarded since the Ukrainian state doesn't have the means to overhaul their tactical doctrine and the resources to train sufficient men for offensive operations.

And simply put, bikes and other light vehicles don't have the staying power of armor and are pretty much useless in urban warfare.

On the topic of the disaster that was the 90'ies for Russia and its recovery under Putin.
The 90'ies was a disaster for every former soviet bloc country. It wasn't caused by democracy aside from a new system always being a mess to get going, just look at how much of a mess the French revolution caused. But because the communist system had degraded to the point that it was struggling to keep things going before the shock of its end.
But all the ex-soviet countries stabilized after the shock of the collapse of the soviet system, recovered its standard or living and then started to push past its pre-collapse standard of living. Russia frankly didn't even have the worst of it. While it didn't have the Chechen wars it didn't suffer an all-out civil war like the Balkans or a full-on war like Armenia/Azerbaijan. It still has its vast natural wealth to bank roll much of the state’s expenditure.
While it is only natural to associate the recovery with the man in power during much of it. It isn’t Putin that saved Russia just as churchill didn’t safe Britain.

On the Frogs acting up.
I think it serves several purposes. First of it’s cheaper to send words instead of bombs.
Secondly it nudges the redline a bit more, Russia threatens to go for the nukes, but nothing happens. In a few months there will be some frog trainers doing training they are doing now in France in Ukraine, there will be treat of reaction from the Russians, but nothing happens. So on and so on until finally you’ve got frogs killing Russians and vice versa in Ukraine, nothing happens no nukes ect.
Thirdly it serves to limit the possibilities for the Russians, if they break trough and the French keep their words then the Russians would have to fight the French to achieve their maximalist war goals. So is it worth pushing past the Dnieper on to Odesa or Kiev if it could draw in fresh NATO troops?
and following on the third purpose it helps the Ukrainian position in any negotiations.
On the frogs not doing anything before the elections. Macron might very well ramp up this rhetoric and even take actions precisely because of the elections. Both because the frogs have a much-inflated sense of their own importance on the global scene and to run his campaign on a pro Ukraine vs “pro russia” Le Pen if he hasn’t any other topic he can beat his opposition on.

Maybe im missing something but just keeping them on the border means Russia has to treat them "in play" and make war decisions with "what if they jump in and reinforce".

But its been my opinion that a major reason Russia isnt pushing so hard is so they dont overextend and some faggot doesnt convince a head of state that this is their big hero of ww3 moment by having nato troops jump on a military push that can handle Ukraine just fine but would get hurt by Nato aircraft and eventually counterattacking nato troops.

Someone mentioned the west pushing the red line inch by inch but i think Russianis boiling the frog somewhat too at this point that the west has declared all in on Ukraine and if they marched to Kiev right now the Biden regime would act stupid.

How valid is his concerns about how Strelkov was treated
Strelkov should've been treated worse, if you ask me. Guy who done absolutely retarded shit during 2014 events which costed lives and made the operation now far more difficult. Then fucked off to hide and became a blogger who kept sharing his great tactical genius that he hadn't shown when he had the chance. Reminder that this is the same clown that kept promising to volunteer and join the fight, but never did and continued just bitching online instead.

To summarize the long article, small and medium drones will have access later to use satellites instead of just control stations in receiving signals. The IT company's plan was to get 100 of satellites into orbit.

it also states sometimes signals can be lost 10s of kilometers depending on conditions that effect those communications with the control stations alone.

The orlan -10 and orlan-30 are limited with a 120km distance range from their control stations, orlan-10 has a max 300km range while the orlan-30 is like 600kms. but if you use relay from satellites to also feed information to control stations either drones can fly out to 150-300km depending on version and fly back the same distance to the operators without a 120km distance limitation (which can also be effected from conditions that reduce that range). This is great news because there are a lot of advancements in MLRS systems and Howitzers that have increased their range and can rely on the drones to offer constant reconnaissance communication feed which offer long range strikes with better precision.

Didnt they Kaliber a hotel full of these French faggots like a month ago. Russia doesnt give 2 shits about blowing up anyone that wanders into the SMO zone.

Frogs just seem to be butthurt over what Wagner had done in Africa. I'm getting an impression that France is trying to flex at Russia just to help their negotiations with the situation in Africa, but who knows what's going on behind the curtain. Will France involve themselves in a war? I am genuinely unsure what they will earn from that. Macron is a Rothschilds' pet, so maybe that dastardly family wants something out of Putin as well. There also seems to be confusion in the French government on whenever this is a good idea or not.
