Ya know, i've been wondering, who was it that broke the story that Bandai Namco were hiding SBI influence on their Unknown9 project? That info had to come from someone inside, cuz if they're going so far as to hide it now...

Gotta be. Ain't no way something like that gets out due to how tightly the lot of the mainstream industry is circling the wagons right now. I salute the brave soul who spilled the beans.

@Grummz has been doing the lords work helping people who do the research shine a spotlight on all of this.
They had their names mentioned in the entry credits. Both David Bédard and Kim Belair.

Though there were plenty of signs, like their forums getting 99% nuked off the planet. And even ChatGPT 4.0 seems eager to lend a helping hand.

Okay, so one guy has a shitlist.

So what? Why should he be listened to? What is being done with that list? Should it be everyone's full-time job to go around a-logging every entity that ever was for their every bluepilled deed?

The only way you could effectively boycott everything you don't like is to go build your own principality out in Buttfuck, Montana, and get thousands of people to join you.

Not everyone feasibly can, or wants to, boycott everything that has some attachment to something they don't like. When you keep a big long shitlist, the only person who looks like a sperg is you.
Then what we have to do to fight this infestation? I have zero tolerance for censorhip and wokeness.

Apparently what you have to do is sit back and do nothing, since I offered the simplest solution possible that quite literally anyone can do and it's either "not effective enough" or too complicated to understand. Never mind that what I linked is probably the best surviving archive of who supported the BLM riots remaining, I guess that's simply not good enough.
That is a good point, people will have to decide themselves "how to fight this infestation". To me, simply naming the evil is enough and the rest will sort itself out and I know others think the same way. That Steam curator group didn't grow overnight without a reason, after all.
Others want to do some gay digging ops or some sort of social crusade to take down entire companies, like that's going to happen. Been there, done that, it failed. Best thing you can do is something that you can realistically accomplish, leave the fantasies for when you're dreaming at night. Everyone can name, shame and archive proof of an individual, then spread it, that's how we got SBI CEO caught in hot water for admitting to running a protection racket. Everyone can stop buying games and lead these companies to an early retirement. That's about it unless you got some hot insider info we're not aware of or you have some ungodly autism and want to do proper investigative work for free.
Best thing you can do is not treat this as some sort of culture war. This is a personal conflict the companies started against their own paying customers, if the narrative strays further from that then it makes it that much easier for the culprits to simply get away under the guise of some political agenda or by claiming victimhood, just like during the original GG.

Apparently the International Game Developers Association (IGDA) issued the statement in regards to the current situation.

With the Game Developers Conference (GDC) underway in San Francisco, the International Game Developers Association (IGDA) has issued a statement saying that it is "deeply concerned" over "increased harassment of historically marginalized developers and those advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives," or DEI.

"We are deeply concerned about the increased harassment of historically marginalized developers and those advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. These concerns stem from similar harassment campaigns experienced during the GamerGate period in the mid-2010s," the group wrote. "Harassment has no place in games or the games industry, and we must create a safe, welcoming, and equitable environment for everyone."

While the IGDA didn't cite it by name, its statement comes amid the ongoing campaign directed at Sweet Baby Inc., a narrative development and consultation studio based in Montreal whose stated goal is to "tell better, more empathetic stories while diverisfying and enriching the video games industry." Sweet Baby has been the focus of harassment on X/Twitter, Steam, and elsewhere as users have posted lists of games the company has worked on in an attempt to discourage inclusion initiatives in games.

Various developers that have worked with Sweet Baby have also gone on the record to defend the company. They include those who have worked on high-profile games such as Alan Wake 2, which has been among the Game of the Year finalists in numerous end-of-year awards ceremonies.

In its statement, the IGDA cited Gamergate — a well-known harassment campaign that began in 2014 — and said that they have "no place in games or the games industry."

Harassment has no place in games or the games industry, and we must create a safe, welcoming, and equitable environment for everyone

"For too long, misogyny, bigotry, and intolerance of diversity have inflicted irreparable harm on individuals and communities within the gaming world. The IGDA condemns the harassment campaigns that emerged from GamerGate and will not tolerate any further hateful rhetoric within our industry," the IGDA said.

"It is imperative we take decisive action to eradicate harassment in all its manifestations. We call upon all leaders at game studios and companies, especially those with greater access to resources and influential platforms, to unite in a firm stance against harassment and in our commitment to building a better future for the games community."

The IGDA is an association that describes itself as "the world's largest non-profit membership organization serving all individuals who create games." Its stated goal is to "support and empower game developers around the world in achieving fulfiling and sustainable careers." The IGDA organizes the Global Game Jam among other events.

The IGDA's statement called on developers to "be vocal" and to "provide comprehensive training programs on diversity, inclusion, and conflict resolution to your teams and communities." It also encouraged members to support victims of harassment while linking to the group's harassment resources.

GDC will be taking place throughout the week, with expected talking points including AI, harassment and toxicity, layoffs, and the next generation of consoles. We'll be at the show, so keep an eye on IGN for more updates as the week continues.

'Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra' Reveals New Story Trailer

Skydance New Media and Marvel reveal a new story trailer for 'Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra' at the Epic Games' State of Unreal showcase.

BY MARIKA HASHIMOTO

Skydance New Media, helmed by award-winning writer and director Amy Hennig, and Marvel Games today shared new details on their upcoming narrative-driven action-adventure game, Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra. A new trailer gives fans a sneak peek into an original story that takes players on a WWII-era adventure with an ensemble of four heroes playable at different points in the game.

As the game’s narrative unfolds, players will assume the role of four central characters: a young Steve Rogers, AKA Captain America; Azzuri, T’Challa’s grandfather and the WWII-era Black Panther; Gabriel Jones, a U.S. soldier and member of the Howling Commandos; and Nanali, a Wakandan spy embedded in Occupied Paris.

The new story trailer was revealed at Epic GamesState of Unreal keynote on March 20, 2024, where Skydance New Media and Epic Games announced their ongoing collaboration to bring state-of-the-art visuals to Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra. Showcasing the latest features of Epic’s Unreal Engine 5.4, Skydance New Media unveiled the trailer as well as a special sneak peek of a key scene between Captain America and Black Panther in Occupied Paris.

With the game’s release in 2025, players can look forward to exhilarating gameplay inspired by Marvel’s landmark comics, films, and television series. Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra captures the action, excitement, and globe-trotting adventure that has delighted fans for decades. We’re excited to share more down the road.

Not actually about SBI, specifically, but rather invocative of the greater issue at hand. Amy Hennig of Uncharted fame aside, this has surely gone through the DEI grinder right from inception, Disney being a woke nexus and all.

To be clear, though, a quick search indicates to me that this is not a story and cast of characters from out of nowhere, but rather appears to be an adaption of a four-issue Captain America & Black Panther crossover from 2010 called Flags of our Fathers, written by Reginald Hudlin after his run of the Black Panther comic.

The black American soldier is Gabe Jones of Nick Fury's Howling Commandos, seen before in the first Captain America MCU movie and seeming to have a significant role in this comic story from the description I read. Besides the connection to the comic story, I suspect Gabe was the primary choice to be Steve's playable buddy in this game (secondary choice black Nick Fury) so that he can have a relation with Wakanda via The Black Experience™️, unlike other choices like Bucky Barnes or Dum-Dum Dugan.

The black lady is Nanali, wife of Black Panther Azzuri and grandmother of T'Challa. It seems that her previous existence is almost entirely from that comic story. I get the impression that the game gives her a big action hero upgrade in order to fill the role as Black Panther's playable buddy, lacking any other option besides inventing a brand new character. Also fills the female character quota.

The game could turn out fine, but I can't help thinking about how many useless DEI "experts" are getting paid in this project.

I already try to inform myself about a remaster or a new game even when I pirate it. I am boycotting through piracy. If a game worth it is done by a small studio and is outstanding, I will buy it.

That right there makes this game even more untouchable, guy's a borderline black supremacist proven through his retardation at Marvel.

That's not what anyone here said, retard. They're telling you to not get sidetracked with yelling at a cloud lists on your Wordpress page. You're making it your way or the highway.

If it's so simple and guaranteed to work, then show us how it's done, o great grand strategist. You literally said "one person could do it".

So do it. Prove us all wrong, that a-logging random strangers who don't even know you exist will end this once and for all.

Don't get assmad and kill the messenger when people point out that your master plan has glaring logistical flaws. You act as if that one blogpost is single-handedly responsible for the retreat of DEI and ESG (I hadn't even heard about it until today).

Got any lore on this? I take it that it's typical for Black Panther to be given to a black radical to write, but is this as egregious as Ta-Nehisi Coates running Captain America?

If a list was made I don't think it would potentially be that powerful on its own. Maybe it would help to not present it as some kind of list of traitors but just as a list of openly pushing some sort of agenda. No threats, only acknowledgement and exposure of involvement. Considering how this all started the likelihood of one of the potential parties or individuals on a hypothetical list noticing it and reacting to it would generate discussion.

A lot of this involves overconfident and pompous activists so why not consult what the notorious Rules For Radicals states.

Rule 1: Power is not only what you have, but what an opponent thinks you have. If your organization is small, hide your numbers in the dark and raise a din that will make everyone think you have many more people than you do.
Rule 5: Ridicule is man's most potent weapon. It's hard to counterattack ridicule, and it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage.

Rule 6: A good tactic is one your people enjoy. "If your people aren't having a ball doing it, there is something very wrong with the tactic."
Rule 8: Keep the pressure on. Use different tactics and actions and use all events of the period for your purpose. "The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition. It is this that will cause the opposition to react to your advantage."
Rule 11: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, polarize it. Don't try to attack abstract corporations or bureaucracies. Identify a responsible individual. Ignore attempts to shift or spread the blame.

He is right and to the point

Look what the journalists around the sphere did to the thread here were i clearly said that it was /v/ who found them and no where did i said "biggest scandal in gaming history" in relation to alan awake but i said to gaming as whole.

The main goal is to convince gaming companies not to fall for useful idiot sheilding and stop them to produce propoganda and trying to arm twist talented writers into writing slop which they agree with and stop macking hack managers to turn artistic platforms into money making machines

If you scream "DA JUDEN!" They will simply put you in a long house and call it a day. Talking about a very easy win and a quick one in that, they will simply call alt right nazis and half of the people will waste time into dissaproving them and half of them will try to sabotage the other creating a wider shitshow. Nothing get dones and they as always get away with it.
Who the fuck is this PC Focus kook anyway? Do we know it's not just some psyop account?

Precisely what I and others are saying...
Don't try to attack abstract corporations or bureaucracies. Identify a responsible individual. Ignore attempts to shift or spread the blame..
...And these "don't's" are precisely what @30+GameOvers is proposing.

If a brazlian is the one who get the whole DEI shit in gaming to imploded, he shall be raised to be an honorand white!
I been to south Brazil and gonna be honest it was whiter than california, florida and other southern parts of America are these days.

They even got these German-style towns that looks straight out of Bavaria, look it up.

Are the normies finally getting the message?
Not quite Trump, but remember that we got Elon Musk talking about this as well.
Funny thing is that he could buy a ton of game studios and companies for a fraction of what he paid for twatter and just start churning out games full of blood and titties which would not only make woke asshole commit sudoku, it would actually sell and make him money unlike twatter.
2. Weak willed people that couldn't handle being insulted by the mainstream which ended up running away or even turning a 180
People forget GG was mostly liberals, conservatives as matt walsh just reminded us never cared about videogames. So it came as a massive shock for a lot of the people involved to see the media that usually supported everything they said doing a 180° calling them worse than hitler and saying all gamers should die.
People forget that the the first 3 months of GG were absolutely insane, there were happenings and people losing their shit -every- day. This just feels really tame in comparison.
Nah I didn't forget, it was the first instance of coordinated mass bans and coverups I seen in my life, and I been online since the mid-late 90's.

Just dont buy the games is not rocket science, why do you need to create a retarded organized group?
The real problem is tracking who is working on what. Anybody who has the time to track these things needs to make groups like these so that the legwork is done for people. Even if you track woke shit, its not exactly easy to keep track of hundreds of different people in hundreds of different companies, especially in smaller titles. If your only response is to stop engaging entirely, you're just leaving yourself out and these companies in, unchallenged.
I just wanted to play video games, never wanted to have to be apart of any movement.
