I guess the only solution is to encourage developers (either the seasoned ones or aspiring ones) that aren't into woke shit to group up and make their own games without AAA studios that would work them to the bone for shit pay anyways. If Alex Jones can get a game made, what would stop them from doing that? They might be out of the 'industry' but good riddance. Games don't even have to be perfect when they're released on steam.
Are there any examples of this being done that were cancelled/removed from woke backlash? Maybe there were 8-10 years ago but I doubt that would happen now that the pendulum is swinging.

you can't use free market tactics against an enemy who gets his funding from outside of the market.
the answer to that whole post is that you can't stop what is going on in the gaming industry, except by stopping it at the higher levels from where it is coming, which is politics.

In all seriousness though. If we boil down the DEI to it's ESG government roots, there's scandals after scandals in the western world in many different countries regarding this. And there's already Massive uprisings everywhere. Not least of all the farmers which have gathered all over Europe to protest these ESG enforcements trying to take their land. Fishers have started to join. Canada has had a massive trucker protest, and recently after court rulings, a suitable celebration of those protests. And nobody is left out if this infestation, as it's even in the gardening and knitting communities/forums.
So Politics, maybe. People are starting to grow tired and disenfranchised by seeing politicians on both side betray the people. This really is the battle of the century, and so much of the world is involved. We'll have to wait and see where and how this ends.

Please make the list, distribute the list to friendly circles, lists are useful for research. We need a list so that we can identify the enemies weak spots. However raw, unrefined lists are not enough, we need support from outside political/image board circles and we need carefully crafted plans to achieve it. You don't win a war on KF or 4chan, you plan it. You don't distribute your intelligence, you leverage it. We need strategy and we need focus (two things GG1 completely lacked). IMHO we need to take that list and find THE game that:
- Is either an established IP or a high budget new IP from a well established studio. Again it must be highly visible and on major platforms.
- Has direct ties to SBI. Again we must keep it simple, the biggest issue GG1 faced is that it was so undefinable and nebulous. We need focus, minimum viable movement. Baggage makes your movement complex, inaccessible and prone to schism (this should be entirely possible with video game lead times, even if SBI have already folded they will be in game credits for half a decade).
- Is actually woke. If they take it to the cutting floor and remove all the stuff the SBI types put in we will look like fools.
- Is a scalp we can actually take. We should not be headhunting GTA-6, there is no stopping the tides, initial sales are inevitable and we need a win on our first outing.
You can rally around products that buck the trend. I didn't buy Hogwarts Legacy at full price because I couldn't wait to play it (in fact I didn't even finish it), I bought it to send a message. Though admittedly this tactic is weak to astroturfing and grift.
Also I do believe the tide is turning, we have been in a state of consumer revolt from GG1 and we have seen big woke failures like Forespoken and OW2. For a time the industry was re-invigorated with covid money and involuntary shut-ins but now the free money is drying up and interest rates are back. Sales, efficiency and margins are going to mean more and ESG investment capitol is going mean less going forward. The kicker is that it will take several years for this to manifest in any appreciable way for the consumer since the lead time on video games is so massive.
Like Null says, it may objectively look hopeless but we have a duty to try anyway.

I'd think given past couple of bangers that released (Helldivers 2, Palworld, etc) in quick succession, change may be coming sooner than we think. Things stay the same until they suddenly aren't. GG1 had things suddenly change for the crazies in their favor. This time around the crazies won't be able to see the knife being slipped into their back. Hell we won't be able to see it until it ambushes us from left-field.

Seriously. You can't just shotgun blast your way through corpos. Look at my above example with Budlight. Their core audience was largely (let's be honest here) Southern, drunk rednecks (as a southerner myself this was painful to admit). Their marketing made a very, very costly mistake.
A boycott of a company doesn't have to be very long, just long enough to prove a point, which is precisely what happened to Budlight. While there are many coming back to it (I don't understand why, Bud tastes like pisswater anyway), the damage their main consumer base did to it should be studied in the future to how effectively combat this kind of shit. Only time will tell if Anheuser-Busch learned a lesson from this, or if they'll continue to double down on the freak show.
Corpos everywhere are effectively learning what happened to Bud and thus you see them shitcanning their entire DEI departments due to how toxic it is.

Not just Helldrivers 2 and Palworld but also AA games like Baldur's Gate 3 and Hogwarts Legacy. Baldur's Gate 3 was a game made on a budget of 100 mil and did better than a 400 million dollar game like Suicide Squad and Spider-Man 2. You also have Hogwarts Legacy which proved that trannies are a very small vocal minority that is hated by the masses and you get more eyes and business by not pandering to them. Rate me optimistic but we may be seeing a course correction soon. Studios will no longer have Daddy Fink bail them out anymore as BlackRock is losing trillions each month due to ESG and DEI. They will no longer be able to make games on a bloated budget nor can they afford to make the danger hair writers self-insert fanfiction into a game. They will have to go back to making games for gamers and not the mythical "Modern Audience".

bg3 and hogwards arent really great examples, they are both pretty pozzed from what i've seen
bg3 with all the gross deviant sex shit it throws at the player, and hogwarts with the full package of globohomo ambiguous genderblob weirdo characters.
the industry was slightly mad at bg3 purely because of its sheer size, it being an 80 hour game makes their 8 hour cinematic AAA titles look bad by comparison, and the hogwarts rage was pure rowling derangement. if it wasn't associated with queen terfs name it would unironically be every trannys favorite game today.

I meant in regards to budget and not listening to trannies. Baldur's Gate 3 is a good looking game and plays well and it was made on a very small and tight budget compared to AAA games. Also, Larian genuinely listened to feedback by gamers in regards to improving the game instead of listening to jornoscum like most AAA studios do. Meanwhile the devs of Hogwarts Legacy didn't bend the knee to the trannies by denouncing J.K Rowling like other Western devs would. As someone who has noticed many devs for table tops denounce writers like Tolkien and Lovecraft because of "racism" and whatever it was nice to see a group of devs defend the creator of a property and not grovel before a bunch of dickless communists in drag.
