Many of us here are only interested in laughing at lolcows like your Jobless Johnny there and that's usually the extent of it. However there are some rather sick and twisted alogs on the internet whose actions are even detestable to users like us. We have no way of controlling what anonymous people choose to do online outside of this forum. So consider whether or not the online antics of the jobless pothead living in your home is worth all the potential negative outcomes of his sperging online, challenging people to fight you (getting potential charges) and now your family being dragged into it. So is stroking Cog's fragile ego worth the cost of your own peace of mind and happiness Dan?
My advice to you is to set an expectation or ultimatum that Johnathan gives up on his 8 year long failed attempt at being e-famous and does right by his family and yours by finally obtaining gainful employment and taking care of his responsibilities like a man. You are in a position to help Cog finally grow up and break away from his childish pursuits online. He has lolcow'd himself at this point for a while now which means there is no positive future outcome for him to continue on doing what he is doing.
No amount of donation money (if that even exists) is worth the headache of dealing with anonymous random alogs on the internet trying to fuck with your life in various ways as a result of Johnnys actions. Don't let Johnny convince you that he will somehow be super e-famous one day or that he will be raking in the money soon. That's a foolish notion since all you have to do is face the fact that he has a small handful of people watching his streams for several years now with no sign of growing his online presence beyond making himself a laughing stock.
He has failed at his online endeavors and will continue to fail. And if he tells you it's just a hobby it doesn't negate the fact that he should still be gainfully employed to support himself and his family. If anything, tell him to get a job and if he wants to continue streaming then tell him to keep his and your personal lives off the menu and focus on any content that is not life ruining drama.
