Dragon's Dogma

The more I see the worse it gets. I was planning on buying a new game this weekend and it looks like Unicorn Overlord it is.
8-4 butchered the localization in that, but if that doesn't matter much to you then enjoy.

Awsome, how'd they do that?
In his own words.

I completed a quest-step, watched cutscene and even got a reward, but Quest-Log didn’t update. Based on cutscene there’s definitely more to quest, but it’s still telling me to go talk to someone (and receive item) that I already have done.

Completing another quest didn’t fix it, resting didn’t fix it (I shouldn’t have fucking done this, since now I can’t even revert to Inn Save), trying to trigger cutscene again didn’t work, he’s not there.

This is a main quest, I still have other stuff to do, so I dunno how bad this is, but I’m pretty sure main quests usually have to be finished. And I can’t.

Reporting in, game runs like absolute shit constant below 60 fps on a 4070ti and 5800x with 64 gb ram on medium-low and dlss set to max performance. Probably will refund it but god damn this port is atrocious.

Anyone know how to fix an issue with sound? Music and background noise is normal, but voices are really quiet. Feels like the audio channels got fucked or something.

Well, there's always Dragon's Dogma 3 in another 12 years...

Holy shit, I must apologise to the people that made a big deal out of DMC 5's microtransations now, Clearly I had too much faith in itsuno to not fuck this up, shame as I was pretty excited for this game and now will only buy it on a deep discount

Could barely get the character creator to launch without it crashing immediately on a 4070ti and i7-12700k, this looks like an easy pirate for me whenever that schizo Empress woman(?) gets around to cracking it, bet the game sees a substantial performance increase without denuvo.

The Review I saw of Princess Peach is that it is far better than it has any right to be.
It looks to be a cutesy girly game aimed at young girls. Nintendo is smart to begin making games centered around Princess Peach as she is one of the most popular female characters next to Barbie and young girls loved her in the Mario movie. Parents of daughters will shill top dollar for a wholesome Princess Peach game for their daughters. Much like they do for their sons who love Mario. Say what you will about Nintendo but they know how to make money.
