The whole, "It just didn't work out" is not and should not ever be a good enough reason. Ideally, couples push through because it's not about them--it's about their duty and the vows they made to each other. Based on the video, her marriage didn't even last a year and she has zero tears to shed over it.

I noticed this as well. Makes me think this is the avenue they're going to sneak social credit scores into somehow. The produce section would be impacted in winter but everything on the shelves is domestic corn, wheat & soy, California grows our almonds, olives, dates and all that Mediterranean shit, Florida grows citrus, our livestock is domestic... I'm working through some of the stuff posted. Particularly the Games for Everyone framework which is all about marketing games to the world. I cannot draw any lines from how being game developer working for Microsoft somehow means you're an expert in other cultures. They seem to be working from a "just because" state of mind.

First thing that has stuck out to me is this part:

We will connect you to a bunch of different resources, so that people are aware and can make an informed decision about their game."

This is double-speak nonsense. Every other sentence doesn't follow the one that precdes it. The more you try to make sense of it, the less it makes sense because of how vague it all is. I'm also wary of the term "vanilla." But also stuff like "make the right decision" and "make an informed decision." Given we live in a world where we're constantly told what is or isn't the "correct" information, this is also highly suspicious language.

I'll unravel a bit more, but these are my initial thoughts on the thing. I'll probably make another video about it in the future.

It's deliberately deceptive strawmanning. No-one is saying the import of goods is an intrinsically bad thing. International trade (and comparative advantage) has been a mathematically proven thing in economics for thousands of years and it has been a fundamental part of just about every colonising empire building system (going back at least as far as the Roman Empire) that would cause Katy to run screaming to her safe space. The core point is that it's been a thing for millennia and is in no way dependant of even related to what retards like Katy are pushing.

You'll also see that, as is usual with this, Katy's comments/quotes have no reasoning or demonstrable facts behind them. That's because it's not based on reasoning or reality but quasi religious dogma.

I did like her MLK quote though. A sort of watered down version of the Malcolm X quote about the racism and danger of the white liberal. Don't you dare criticize them, they're Japanese(therefore forever based) and made some good games like 10 or 20 years ago, so they're untouchable to us GamersTM. In fact, I think it's time to spend 100$+ on the new Dragon's DogmaTM game right now, just to make sure that Capcom quarterlies don't get impacted by any haters refusing to purchase the game!
Also, I should add that the only reason anyone is still playing Battlefield 2042 despite it's horrific launch is because it is the least awful game to play right now, compared to Halo Infinite and Call of Duty. The game still flopped and EA more or less said they're putting the entire franchise on ice after this, or at least not considering it their priority anymore. It's joever, nobody at that company even knows how the engine works because all the people behind it quit EA.

The funniest part about this pic to me will always be that Capcom keeps posting Nintendo games as negative examples when Nintendo has absolutely demolished them in sales for their entire existence, ESPECIALLY nowadays.

Ironically this first part got me because I naively thought that was talking about accessibility, and making games more targeted/focused, both of which would be good things. One-hand controllers for amputees or whatever and games that don't need to shove enrichment down your throat (because they have another game for those who want that).

Of course, as I continued reading it became clear that no, it's just more diversity.
